A lot of people are saying it looks chalky, it actually isn’t! It’s smooth and the colours are so pretty! You have to look at in the store, the pics online don’t do it justice!

I own this quad and agree that it’s a little sheer dry, but I’ve had good luck using this quad (and other eye studio quads) wet. I love the blue lilac shade. I don’t own anything like it and my collection is huge.

Like a lot of makeup, your mileage may vary The best one I’ve tried was the gold one, but I find that drugstore brands are often better at more neutral shades — so I definitely wanted to try some of the bolder, more color-heavy quads too. I haven’t found any to be as good as the gold one I tried, but there are some that are better than others. (This one being the worst I’ve tried.)

HA! Okay so this was the first (and only) quad I bought from this line, and I hated it! And I was kinda shocked because your other reviews seemed to generally have positive things to say about the Eye Studio Quads. For the most part, I tend to agree with you. So its interesting to read that this was your least favorite… Maybe I won’t completely rule these quads out.

I’m not much of an dark eyeshadow gal so this might be a pretty good eyeshadow quad for me. They look pretty rich in the container, thank goodness you did this swatch or I might have passed them on!

It could be pretty! I think that they’re still quite sheer, so you’ll definitely get more of a shimmery overlay over the black of Blackground than a real color change.
