Make Your Own Color Story: Temptalia

What if you could make up your own color story? If you don’t already know, a color story is a run down of all the products and their descriptions when a cosmetic line releases a new collection. For instance, when I post upcoming collection information for MAC, those are color stories. Now, what would your color story be, if you could dream up one of your own?

Femme Fatale – Bold matte red with purple undertones (matte)
Jezebella – Dainty girly-pink to entice with white pearl (lustre)
Temptress – Flashy violet with gold pearl reflects (lustre)
Vixen – True gold color with soft shimmer (amplified creme)

Teasingly – Mid-tone pale pink with semi-matte finish
Allurance – Bold raspberry pink with white pearl
Toy Ploy – Sheer warm golden tones with shimmer
Entrapesque – Light violet with white and pink pearl

Insatiation – Forboding midnight violet with blue pearl (veluxe pearl)
Miss-titilate – Light minty green with white pearl (veluxe)
Narcotica – Nearly black with red pearl (veluxe pearl)
Scarletto – Deep red with black undertones (satin)
Sirenic – Night-time blue with silver pearl (frost)
Statix – Soft antique gold (satin)

I'm confused.. did you "make" the colors for the pictures.. especially for the lipsticks?? They're so pretty. Are the acutal MAC products or did you make the colors yourself?? How did you do that?! (If you made it yourself, it looks so real.)
I made the colors using Photoshop :) I took existing MAC photos and then played around with them in Photoshop to change-up the actual color you see. Luckily MAC's photography is pretty bunk in terms of color accuracy, LOL. MAC actually uses B&W photos and then overlays color on top for a LOT of their products - at least that's how it used to be on the website (which is why color accuracy sucks!).

Actually the quads remind me a lot of Balloonacy.

WOW,WOW,WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just found this article,and i can't believe my eyes. it is only a question of time and You will come up with Your own MAC collection,for sure. they need creative brains,like You!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the Temptalia pigment!!!!!!!!!! i would definitely buy it,just to tell everyone,i am sporting Temptalia that day :-D the Narcotica e/s is soooo chic!!!!! i already have a matching sweater to wear it with :-D and i would get the Temptress lipstick,since i love purple on my lips :-D

You and I both! The colors are simply amazing. I'd get Insatiation, Scarletto, and Sirenic. Plus all the pigments! You can see the editing on the lipsticks(the squares of color). Might I suggest a soft brushed eraser? I can only assume you used layers. Photoshop is my BEST FRIEND, besides makeup of course...

Heeey! I'm a big big fan of your site! I suppose this would be the first collection where I would buy EVERYTHING! Send your pics and discriptions to MAC ;) Probably you should send it to MAC :) Have you edited the pics via Photoshop?

Those are awesome! I would definitely buy them. :) I especially love the purple, blue, and 2 red eye shadows, jezebella lipstick, and all 4 pigments. You should send them to MAC, you're so creative!
