Even though I'm all about color and wear it often, whenever I've done more neutrals, going super bright (like BLUE!) still makes me feel a bit awkward. So I still remember and know how it feels to be wary of using color :) My best advice? Experiment at night, have fun at home - don't worry about having to wear it out or anything. I'm one that likes guidelines.. and rules - but makeup, and using colour is definitely intimidating. I guess I have to step outside of the box and experiment - like you said, its not permanent. Its about being confident. I know that since I started wearing makeup - its been about making that effort, feeling confident in myself, rather than looking like I just rolled out of bed.
