Make Up For Ever @ Ed Hardy
Make Up For Ever Alliance artist, James Vincent (www.makeupforever-alliance.com), served as the key make up artist for the Ed Hardy swim show on Friday, July 16th. James created a bold black eye and strong red lip for a glamorous, old Hollywood look.
Complexion & Cheeks: The skin was bronzed and dewy with highlights on the brow bone and high cheek.
Eyes: To get a neutral base for the eye, James applied Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow #156 up to the brow bone. He then created a thick rim around the top of the eye extending to the liner beyond the outer corner of the lid using Make Up For Ever Aqua Black, and he then went on to rim the lower lash line as well. He finished by applying two coats of Make Up For Ever Aqua Smoky Lash.
Lips: For a gorgeous pop of red on the lips, James applied Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream #8.
To celebrate, Make Up For Ever and Temptalia are giving away:
- Make Up For Ever Aqua Black
- Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes #0L
- Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream #8

A smokey eye can be worn everywhere...depends on the color choice and how smokey it really is;) I love a dark dramatic smokey eye for a night out/dinner. A fun colorful one for a day w your girl friends/beauty buds;) or a very natural toned one for work;) Smokey all the way!
I'd wear a somkey eye to a rock gig! BUT make sure it's all waterproof because things can get hot at certain venues... MUA tend to say 'the messier the better' but it isn't always quite right!
Smoky eyes should not JUST be limited to the night life. I say wear smokey eyes whenever you feel like wearing them!!
I wear smokey eye anywhere really. My eyes have a small crease, so smokey doesn't look overwhelming on me unless I bring it up to my brow bone or something.
I would wear a smokey eye to a party prob or an event at night just cause its very bold and it brings out ur eyes =]
My favorite time to wear a smoky eye is the late evening to go out to dinner and enjoy a couple of drinks.
Oh how I would LUV to win this prize!! I would wear a smokey eye on a much needed nite out with my husband. Our Anniversary was this week and we haven't got to go out alone in a long time. So when we finally do get the chance, I want to make sure I look "smokin' hot" with smokey eyes. He always tells me how beautiful he thinks my eyes are...Awwww!
I wear smokey eyes almost every day. They are my to-go look. It doesn't have to be done all in black :)
i don't have many opportunities to wear a smokey eye, but when it is time to get all dressed up and go out with my girls for a night on the town, that is when i would wear a smokey eye.
I almost never wear smokey eyes in the summer, but I have a bachelorette party coming up for my friend in september. I'll def. wear a smokey eye then!
Smokey eye can go anywhere!! But i love a green colored smokey look! And to anyone that thinks this look is ridiculous on the models.....IT'S CALLED A FASHION SHOW! Why would you think it's a "wearable" look anyway!? And makeup is MUFE NOT Ed Hardy.....
i usually wear smoke looks when i go to the mall... which is about every sunday.. and during the week i just wear a smoky lash line and mascara with sometimes a hint of color on my waterline.
The smokey eye is my dressed up look for nighttime, whether I'm going to dinner, dancing, or a night on the town.
Anytime, anywhere... As long as I felt like it. There are dozens of different ways to do a smoky eye, and they all don't need to involve the color black.
To be honest I would wear a smokey eye anywhere!!! But most definitely to a club or party or lounge or an after 5 wedding. I'm not really shy when it comes to wearing different makeup looks... so I would even wear this during the day.
