MAC Chen Man Love & Water Collection: Waveline Fluidline
MAC Waveline Fluidline ($15.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a permanent product (and has been for awhile) that is getting repromoted in the new Love & Water Collection. MAC describes this shade as a “navy blue with low level gold pearl.” It’s a rich navy blue with just a touch of purple–it’s barely there but with the right combination of colors could be pulled out. It has good opacity in a single pass and is easily built up in color. MAC Prussian is similar, though perhaps a little more noticebly purple.
I love MAC’s Fluidline formula; it’s my favorite gel eyeliner, even though there are several excellent gel eyeliners, this one always tops my list because the formula is top notch and the price is considerably less than higher-end brands that have comparable formulas. For example, Bobbi Brown’s Gel Eyeliners are amazing, but ultimately wear the same (all-day) as Fluidlines–they’re just more expensive. To be fair, Bobbi Brown has a much better range of colors than Fluidline, which is sorely lacking in permanent shade selections. Fluidlines are creamy, easy to apply, and wear all day long without smudging or fading.

Fluidlines are one of MAC's cult favorite products and for a good reason, because they work--they're long-wearing, creamy, pigmented, and apply seamlessly across the lid with an eyeliner brush.

I wore a navy pencil yesterday, I think it was stila, and two people told me I looked very happy. So I was thinking about buying a navy fluidline. I prefer using gels to pencils.
Has anyone ever experienced any eye irritation while using Fluidline? I was thinking of trying one but I am a bit wary as my eyes are quite sensitive.
Want something in deep navy blue :(...for office wear!

Do you use an angled brush to apply your fluid line?
If it's for the upper lash line, then I'd use a brush like the 208 or 263!
Oh, pretty! I love the gold flecks in this - now that's something you don't see too often in a blue liner ;) (Or a blue anything, to be honest!)
I wish this were a tad darker. I love the Fluidline formula, but I wish they'd make a color similar to Blooz pencil.

I believe only the matte Fluidlines are waterline safe, so I did not use this on the waterline.
After having a massive bad reaction to Fluidline on the waterline I did a MAC Chat and they said no Fluidline is waterline safe. Only Eye Kohl and Technakohl. But I've received conflicting MAC Chat info in the past. However, I won't ever let Fluidline near my waterline again.
