The girl and boy from Ipanema, from Cap D’Antibes to West Palm Beach…All around the world, the seaside has a romance, and a kind of golden, sexy alchemy we’re all drawn to. This collection encapsulates it, with a new, lapping-wave Lip-Pencil and High-Light Powder in coral shades, Nail Lacquer – A Scorcher! – Eye Shadow, Kohl, and Powder Blush to get away from it all effortlessly. i bought the golden bronzer from the mac warehouse sale a few weeks ago, it was in this packaging but logically never opened.. but it seems a bit sheerer/more powdery than regular golden.. was it like this or has it just maybe gone bad..

On the Marine Life, I just realized that the orange-coral and the light baby pink colors are reversed when comparing the first photo to the second photo. Are there two different Marine Lifes?

hi, i just bought some items at mac from to the beach collection, i think the pic of the blush is not true , it is ONLY CORAL and light pink, so such thing as gold seahorse ! the 131 brush is not as what i had expected..the nail laquer is really beige like nc 35 not light beige..i don´t like any i think ,though i still bought some coz the staff made me look stupid when i tried those new collection as if i don´t have money to pay for it ! so i bought items just to make the staff feel stupid too ! mac here in spain is twice as the price in mac us !! even pricey than mak uk ! to think that uk pounds is higher than euro ! in mac uk website mac 131 brush is only 27 pounds ! in mac madrid its 43 EURO !!!!!!

It will show up OK -- not super intense, but I think it will show up.

The products look gorgeous, I will definitely be buying a good few things - but I'm in the minority by thinking the packaging is really tacky looking! I don't like the orange, the seahorses or the shells and starfishes, the green is ok I suppose - maybe it will look better in the flesh!

Yeah, I saw, but I'm not sure if it's shipping yet. I have an order in, but we shall see if it actually ships or if it's just pre-order -- I called Boomingdale's this AM and the store was still saying May 27th was the launch date. As far as I know, it is unusual.
Yeah I attempted to place a order and it switched from saying "in stock" to "we will have to check and see if this item is in stock" so I'm thinking it might be pre order. Oh well I guess we will see.
Yeah, we'll see. They charged my card earlier today (I have Express shipping on all the items) but we'll see if anything ships. Though, TBH, they shouldn't be charging me unless they confirm it's in stock, LOL!

i can't wait! lustre drops look amazing! i love the seahorse bronzer and the packaging on the lipsticks. OMG, does anyone like the dark forest green packaging? anyway, the lipglasses are adorable.
Im definitely going to pick up the lifes a breeze lipliner and 2 lazy day lipsticks. im not sure about any lipglasses yet though i will have to wait for swatches :P

Absolutely divine packaging. Love the eyeshadows, blushes, body bronze oil and lustre drops. Not too sure about lip sticks (does not flatter my skin tone) . Lip glosses are always fantastic!

Christine; The marine life highlight powder has light pink on the top, and coral on the bottom and all the promo images, yet the one which is (was - sold out) being sold on the MAC UK website, and the pictures of various hauls from ukers, show that the coral is on the top, and the light pink on the bottom, am I missing something, or is the US going to get the one in the promo images? *confused*
It might be that when they took the promotional photos, those were of sample products - maybe not the absolute final one - and they later changed it.
Sand & sun e/s looks nice esp since it's a matte. cream bronzers look nice but i don't think it's matte so i may have to pass. the hipness blush looks fantastic until i read frost .. pass everything else looks dupable. colors look great, the texture is less to be desired. in the hot hot sun, this summer, it only makes sense to buy things that will look natural. Any noticeable color will melt away and create a messy mess.
Are they going to allow the pro discount on this collection?
Hi Laura, I really have no idea. I think someone talked about this a few months ago (in a comment) about PRO discounts not being eligible on collaboration collections - like McQueen, Fafi, Heatherette, Liberty of London - because it's a licensing deal vs. just different color packaging. I'm not sure though, so you should call your local store and ask :)
Ooooo what is Beach Bound lipstick like? is it warm or neutral?
