The Web truly has become a powerful tool for mobilizing people into action. I also want to applaud every person who participated in the discussion. That is the joy of "freedom of speech." Which also allows all of us to have different points of view. No matter where you stand on this: Blown out of proportion or justified social outrage, this incident provided a learning opportunity for whoever wanted to engage with it. I especially applaud every person who talked about doing their own research and investigation to learn more about Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. For me, I am very pleased that MAC is making a long term commitment to the women & children of Juarez! Perhaps other beauty companies will pick up on this and get involved as well! Who would have thought in this moment, the beauty industry has an opportunity to do some serious good in Juarez?! Peace!
