My old shadesticks dried up. I wonder what the possibilities of these ones drying are.
I think these are creamier, but I don't know whether they'll dry out like the old ones.

i love the two nail polishes! is the peachy one sheer at all? and i think i'm gonna get lollipop loving and touch... i'm NC42, do you think those lip colours would look suitable?
I found both of the polishes to be pretty opaque for me, Vicky! I think both of the colors would work on you!
Just got Tasty, Just Delicious, Dear Cupcake, Lollipop Loving, Perfect Topping, and Sweet Thing ( <3 hot pinks and magenta at the moment :). I got Refined, Triple Yum and Saint Germain on Ebay, so I kept my haul small compared to HK! Aquavert didn't strike me as a color I'd wear, so I avoided it. Sugarshot was pretty, but I think I have something like it. The nail lacquers were pretty in the tube, but not striking enough for me to want to wear. Gosh makes similar colored shadesticks. They were only $12 and are on sale for $10. I'm picking up a few of those tomorrow since although I loved the shadesticks, I don't really need more eyeshadow bases.
Stunning pictures Christine!! I want Bubbles, Lollipop Loving and St Germain lipsticks and Aquavert shadow. Would Cakeshop shadestick look good w/Aquavert? Are Butternutty or Lemon chiffon shadesticks similar colors to Beigy- ing shadestick?

It means a lot :) Hmm, I'd say Lemon Chiffon is probably closer in lightness, but Butternutty more in hue - like Butternutty is a bit pinkish, while Beige-ing is still grayish-beige, you know? I am sure this is not helpful! And yes, Cakeshop would look great with Aquavert! I just tried it :)
I agree with you Christine, this collection doesn't do much for me. I swatched all the items today, and most of them fell totally flat imo. The tricolour glosses were blah, the lipsticks were all pretty ugly, and the Seasonal Peach nailpolish was so streaky. Dear Cupcake was something that sort of peaked my interest. It swatched nicely on my skin so I may pick this one up. Sugarshot swatched very chunky on my skin. The shadesticks are the best part of this collection imo. They are all very pretty, but butternutty was definatly the color that excited me the most. Perfect Topping Mineralize Skinfinish was also gorgeous and I would like to pick that one up as well!
Hey Rachael! Sugarshot isn't anything special, IMO. It's a flaky lustre neutral highlighter kinda color. Phloof! will get the job done. The shadesticks are definitely the highlight of the launch :) We are so on the same page!
You really do take the best pictures. I always want to buy what you buy, MAC should hire you to do their advertising..lol

oooomg I want the green nail lacquer!! I am not really excited by the rest, I think the glosses look very cheap or something. Oh and the shadestick in cakeshop!!! Loveee the green colour.

Ooh thanks for the photos! I stopped by and checked them out today. I totally wanted some of it, but was able to resist. The lollipop lovin' seems different than my heatherette one... less green or gold or something... just me?
No problem! What did you want to get, Kat? I definitely think it is less green -- because I totally skipped Lollipop Loving the first time because it was a bit TOO green!
The LE eyeshadows... I'm such a sucker for pinks so that cupcake one was really calling my name, but it did seem sorta paradiscoish like you said in your review, so I was able to resist. I also want to try the shadesticks because I never have before but... I can wait. I'm sure there will be another collection with shadesticks at some point haha!
lol! If they brought the shadesticks back this launch, it does seem hopeful they will include them again!

I'm all over Cakeshop! I like the way Peppermint Patty looks in the bottle but I don't think it will be flattering on me.
Yeah, I don't know how green polish like that is gonna look on me either!
I love looking at these pictures. It's still a few weeks before this collection comes out in the UK, so it's nice to have something to keep me going. :)

love the shadesticks. the MSF's are soooo pretty I can't stand it! Oh and I really want that peppermint nail polish!! to bad it's sold out online ...boo!
