This collection features three new and limited edition shades of MAC Fluidline ($15.00 for 0.10 oz.). These shades include: Added Goodness (blackened mauve), Midnight Snack (soft black), and Wholesome (blackened brown). Fluidline is a gel eyeliner that’s supposed to be long-wearing and is housed in a small glass jar.
- Added Goodness is a blackened-brown mauve that almost looks taupe in some lighting. There’s mauve, black, brown, and gray all mixed into a very interesting, complex shade that does retain some of that complexity even once applied. It’s dark and lines well, but it’s softer (and yet still has some intensity) compared to full-on black. It’s a lot like Bobbi Brown Black Mauve. Stila Starry is also similar, in liquid form, with more of a mauve look.
- Midnight Snack is a deep, dark gray with silver shimmer. I couldn’t think of a dupe for this one — a lot of the gray eyeliners I have are much lighter.
- Wholesome is a intense blackened brown with a natural sheen. It seems like it’s deeper, darker compared to Dip Down–more like if you mixed Dip Down and Blacktrack together. MAC Avenue is cooler-toned, not as dark.
The majority of Fluidlines perform really well and live up to the brand’s claims. MAC’s form of gel eyeliner is easily one of the best on the market from my experience. The price point makes it very attractive, too. I’ve had many for years, and I haven’t had any problems with the product drying out over time. It’s a smooth, creamy formula that applies well with a stiff eyeliner brush to the upper lash line. I’ve also worn it as an eyeshadow base and on the lower lash line without problems.

I SO wish these were permanent! Midnight Snack looks like my perfect shade!

Love your blog. I just purchased Added Goodness after seeing your swatches; it looks beautiful, and I love taupes! I also purchased the Vera pearlmatte in Sunday Afternoon. While I have purchased a fair amount of MAC products in the past, these are my first LE products! It is also be my first time trying a fluidline.

Do you think Added Goodness is similar to Avenue from Mac Me Over collection?
Maybe not quite as burgundy-ish?
These are great shades!! Wholesome looks a whole lot darker and deeper than Blacktrack though. Not even close to Dipdown in my opinion

I picked up Added Goodness and Midnight Snack a few hours ago. They are gorgeous! At first I thought Midnight Snack might be similar to Graphite Shimmer by Bobbi Brown (judging by how it looks in the pot) so I ran over to BB counter to check the swatches side by side and they arent alike at all. Ran back to MAC and bought it!
I've only used kohl pencils before, so I'm very excited to try all the other different liners out there! I just need to buy me some brushes first! :P
Those swatches seem a bit too heavy :/ I do like Wholesome, though.

Added Goodness is BEAUTIFUL! Reminds me of that Nars Cream Shadow that came out semi-recently and creased badly...NEED THIS FLUIDLINE.
Ugh, this collection looked so fun. Why follow it up with three completely boring Fluidlines? Total pass.

I'm so glad I already own BB Black Mauve Shimmer Ink, so I don't need Added Goodness, Midnight Snack on the other hand I think I must get! And it's only $15!
I feel like the first two look like Paint Pots lol...anybody else think that?
I love Fluidlines and am going to pick up Added Goddess. The other 2 look nice as well but when they are applied they probably will just look black. Thanks for the reviews :)

I LOVE MAC Fluidlines. For basic shades (like black) there are plenty of good drugstore alternatives, like Physicians Formula or Essence, but for fun colors, MAC's are reasonably priced and really good quality. I haven't had any problems with mine drying out either. These new shades look beautiful--a little more fun than ordinary black or brown liner.
oh wow ! I have to admit, I have never tried gel liners, not even liquid liners because i'm afraid that i don't have a steady hand enough for application ! Added goodness is stunning ! Maybe I should try...
Added Goodness looks interesting! I just don't know if it's dark enough to bring my dark brown eyes out. Will get the SA to try it on me!

Really nice! Added Goodness is one I'll pick up, I think. I love BB's Black Mauve, but hate the price point for the gel eye liners! Since MAC's work just as well and are cheaper, it's a no brainer. Wholesome really reminds me of BB's gel eyeliner in Espresso... not an exact dupe, but similar. Espresso is very matte, whereas Wholesome has a sheen to it. Color-wise though, similar I think!
I think Added Goodness needs to be my first fluidline! I hope they'll be in Debenhams/House of Fraser/Selfridges as well because I see all the stuff I want going instantly (as usual :().

I love fluidlines - what do you think of Mightnight Snack w/the new NARS single Lhasa? Do you think thats the best choice - maybe with MAC's Black Swan liner or the NARS grey pencil? I appreciate your opinions & thank you for all your advice.

I think I need about a zillion backups of Added Goodness. I love the colour of BB Black Mauve but I don't like the formula.
MAC Fluidline is the liner that I swear by. I love the new Fluidline in Added Goodness - such a pretty metallic brown for brown eyed girls!

I have two Mac Fluidlines and both have dried out over time :( It's a shame but I still think they're amazing products!
did you store them upside down in the original carton? and turned them upside down after dipping your brush in in between picking up colour? I did this from day1 and have had my black one for years now, no drying whatsoever.. maybe it helps!
