Lucent is so pretty! I was hoping I’d be able to pass on it to save some money but I’m not sure I’m going to be able to now!

I missed out on Petticoat the first time because I had no money. I think I might have to pick it up this time.

I lost my Petticoat, and never had So Ceylon, so I think I’m gonna ahve to get them both.

  4. Wow, Earthly Riches is so mine! It may just be the pictures, but does the grey-black shade in that duo have a little bit of duochrome in it? Maybe duochrome isn’t the right word, but it seems like it’s not just a plain black/grey colour. Also, if they had taken the gold colour from Heat/Element and paired it with the green from Bright Side/Gallery Gal, I would’ve sprung for that as well.

You’ve probably already talked about this, but is there a big difference between normal eyeshadows and mineral eyeshadows? I’m a bit worried about fallout in the mineral eyeshadows…

OooOOoooh…Thanks for swatching this! I can’t wait to go to MAC in person to see how it looks with my skin tone. Christine, do you plan on purchasing the mineralized trios?

It seems that a lot of people are concerned with the pigmentation and fallout of mineralized make up. My sis-in-law suggested spraying fix+ before applying and it works sooo well. Plus, I use a paint pot as a base and my mineralized eyeshadow holds.

Nevermind… I just saw the swatches for the mineralized trios! OOPS! Thanks!

    • No problem, Jen! :) I have no current plans to get them. If I get any, they’re probably just to do a look or two for the blog, and then I’ll pass it along to my sister or friends.

I missed out on Petticoat and So Ceylon and I wanted to give them a try. Do you know where I can find these products? Thanks. You’re site is really2x nice. :)

    • Your best bet is eBay, to be honest, they’re pretty hard to find right now!

So Ceylon is permanent, I believe, but I’m not 100% sure.

Sorry I have another question. Have you ever tried Laura Geller’s Blush-n-Brigthen? If you did? Would you recommend that over Petticoat? Sorry too many questions. Thanks. :)

    • I think they’re similar, and it’s a good dupe if you don’t want to hunt for Petticoat! I don’t know if one is better than the other, though!
