  1. I’ll wait for a review to decide if these are worth it. I’m obsessed with NARS satin lip pencils so maybe…

  2. Okay, I am down for these. I can’t believe I said that so quickly about a MAC collection lol

These look fabulous! I haven’t been overly excited for anything MAC since the Archie Collection, but I love this idea! Hopefully they’re beautiful, and I look forward to your reviews as always!

  4. I really can’t wait for some swatches and reviews to start rolling out! I hate ordering blind but I think I want a few of these

Is this a knee jerk reaction, or is that promo photo is just creepy repulsive?

I will definitely hold out on opinion until I see a review. Maybe these are worth a look…that is on someone else’s lips that haven’t been weirdly photoshopped.

Can’t wait to see the reviews!!!

  7. NARS anyone? I’m officially intrigued now! :-)

  8. I can’t wait for these!! I’ll look forward to your review (seeing that you blog about them!).

  9. I’m so tired of that trend already!

  10. I will be very curious to see if they actually deliver on the whole ‘patent’ thing! The promo image is very impressive in that respect, but promo images are a different beast to reality, usually ;-)

    The colour selection looks nice!

  11. Are these actually iridescent or is that FX done in post? It’s a gorgeous photo!

  12. I think I would need to see real life photos and swatches before thinking of buying any of these.

I think I’ll try just one, to start. Maybe Spontaneous :)

  14. I picked up Sultana and I’m debating Pleasant and Teen Dream. Ohhh my wallet…

  15. Angie

    Are these limited?

  16. Natalia

The texture is like the urban decay high gloss pencils ..not so much like nars.

So far I don’t like them.

  18. I’ve learned not to have any knee jerk reaction with Mac products. They would be really cute for the summer if as advertised. I would take the dark grape lip pencil in a hot minute.

  19. So glad these are twist-up! I have so many lip/eye crayons that need to be sharpened and its a pain!

I really want to indulge in these but I’m going to be responsible for once and wait for swatches :)

  21. I’ve been on the edge whether to buy Nars lip pencils or not. Now I’ll make sure to see which one will be better, they both seem interesting enough.:)

  22. I’m really curious about these lip crayons, mostly because the finish looks so glossy and shiny in the promo pic. There’s a ton of “chubby” lip pencils around nowadays but if they really are that shiny they would be pretty unique.

I wondered when MAC was going to jump on the chubby pencil bandwagon.

  24. I just want swatches lol

Ahh, I hope these perform well! I’m fairly tempted by the colors. I like that they’re twist- up because it’s a hassle to sharpen when I’m in a rush. Plus I don’t like wasting product.

  26. I am definitely excited to see reviews of this & play with them in person!

  27. Oh MY GOODNESS! I just ordered this last night, in Innocent, the nudist one I could see. Luckily I got it also free overnight delivery so it should be here tomorrow and I have NEVER been so excited for a product to arrive! I cannot wait!!!!!

  28. This collections looks like a lot of fun!!

I just bought 3 of these on impulse, and I’m really loving them. They’re very creamy feeling which is nice. PatentPInk so far is my favourite.

I just got mine today! Go for Girlie is a really pretty light coral shade that reminded me of Viva Glam Nicki when I first opened it. Nicki is definitely a lot more pink and has more of a blue base, it’s not as warm as Go for Girlie. The formula glides on very easy and starts off sheer, but can be built up some. It’s not forgiving to any imperfections on your lips at all. The finish is very glossy but not thick or goopie what so ever. It feels more like a lip balm but doesn’t soak into your lips right away. It has a slippery texture and is comfortable to wear.

  31. I just got Spontaneous today. I haven’t tried any other chubby pencil brands, so I can’t compare, They are glossy, very easy to apply and seem to stay put. I might look at other colors, as this color is a little safe…MLBB.

  32. About time that mac made a glossy pen type product! I think I’ll have to test these out in stores first though, they seem a bit too good to be true im not sure why. Also, sincere mojo maker seems like a coral-y tea rose color (:

  33. I can’t wait to try these. I love the Revlon Lip Balm pencils and Clinique Chubby Sticks. They offer quick precision in application and they are not drying at all.
