Do you know if these have SPF at all? The only way I would consider leaving my dear Bare Minerals would be if this had SPF.

As far as I know, they don’t! If they’re mineral-based, there may be some SPF protection in the ingredients list (but I don’t have it).

I’m looking forward to seeing the 189 brush in person – sounds like a brush I’d get a lot of use from!

i’m an NC35 too. get the regular in Medium Plus. Medium is too light and medium dark can appear orangey on us!

I’ll be picking one up myself, and I’m NC30, hopefully that’ll give me a better idea of what shades go with who. But you could do a LiveChat & ask!

I’m not Christine, but yes, this is the case. A powder + a highlighter.

The difference between the US and Canadian dollar is ridiculous. It really makes me mad to see how much more we have to pay especially when they are so close.

That being said, I can’t wait to get one of these. I am going to be on holidays when this comes to my store so the girls there were super nice and let me see all the new stuff before they put it out and pick out what I wanted and they would hold it for me. It was great.

COMPLETELY agree with this comment. it makes me think twice about buying things(im in canada) and instead i just wait til i can cross the border or get a friend to pick it up for me in the states.

i know you guys think that that difference is huge, but it is even worse here in Australia. A mac lipstick is US$14 and CA$16.50 but here ONE lipstick is AU$35! even though the exchange rate is almost equal…..mac seriously needs to update their prices, i’m sure its turning away some customers.

I think it’s all about the shipping costs. I don’t really know but I bet in the Europe MAC costs more than in US. I’ve never really been to a MAC store (no stores in my country!) but I’m really interested in these cosmetics. I’m looking forward to visit a store while in Germany or Estonia.

I am not so sure about it being the shipping costs as if you notice, the MAC products in North America are all made in Toronto Ontario Canada and if that theory were true, then Canada would be paying cheaper than the US would for the exact same product. I think the price difference is crazy too and I waited until I went on vacation in Seattle to pick up all my brushes and skin care stuff from MAC there as there was a huge difference in pricing.

I have no idea why prices are what they are, unfortunately!
