Conjure Up Mineralize Blush
MAC Magic, Mirth, & Mischief Review: Mineralize Blushes
I think fans of MAC mineralize blushes will enjoy the two newest, limited edition additions released with the holiday color collection. I still prefer pressed powder blushes myself, but these two are exceptionally lovely.
- Conjure Up is a dirty plummy-berry with very subtle shimmer (hardly any at all!) and intense color. Initially, it reminded me of a deeper Stark Naked blush (which I love).
- Superdupernatural is a rusty coral with a subtle sheen. It’s also rich in color and easy to layer for increased intensity.
I’d put both on my must-have list, though Conjure Up would edge out Superdupernatural if I could only choose one. I think that both are flattering for different skin tones, but of course, Superdupernatural may be harder for cooler skintones to pull off. I don’t think cool-toned faces should stay away from it, though, because it doesn’t run very warm.

- Product: 27/30
- Value: 8/10
- Ease of Use: 4/5
- Packaging: 4/5

Oh wow, they’re both really pretty. I may pick up Conjure Up because it looks like it’d make a gorgeous just come in from the cold kind of look. Could you compare Super Duper Natural to Nuance? They look pretty similar but you mentioned that this one isn’t very warm?
Christine

Not quite as warm/orange, and I’d say a little deeper.

I surprised myself with these today because I was not impressed. The Conjure Up is a deeper gentle in my opinion, and superdupernatural is close to others like nuance and dainty.

How does Superdupernatural compare to Nars Luster? I’m debating between which to get. Thanks!
Christine
Monday, October 26, 2009
Nah, not at all the same. Luster is probably better.

Christine, do you feel Superdupernatural has any orange in it when applied? It definitely looks it has more pink undertones in the pot but applied, it looks quite orange. What do you think after trying it in person? :)
Christine

It does have some. I don’t think it’s super orange, but it does have some orange-ness to it! I think it goes on a little more orange on me since I am warmer toned overall!

I was looking at these today, I loved both of them. Wow!
I tend to think I suit more peachier toned blushes best though so may have to get superdupernatural, great names as well.
Just off to check out your reviews for the two palettes I liked Devil may dare and smoke and mirrors. Do you think the palettes are worth it? also i’m wary cos my eyes are really sensitive to the lustre type shadows, what do you think?
Christine
Wednesday, November 18, 2009
Devil May Dare is probably better. Smoke & Mirrors is nice, but you can get permanent shadows that are similar and just as good (or better).
