MAC Kitty Kouture Review, Pictures, Swatches

Kitty Kouture is a short but sweet collection, and it will rob you blind after you take one look at all of the Swarovski crystals on the blinged out compact. For those wondering, the bling-bling kitty chain on the dazzleglasses is removable. The packaging for the dazzleglasses is well-done with black box packaging with a glittery kitty on the outside (not Swarovski crystals!). The kitty charm has a clear plastic sheet overlayed on the front and back, to only be removed if you want to reduce the value ;P
The compact is silver with plenty of Swarovski crystals, and inside is the sheer mystery powder. I’m not a big fan of the sheer mystery powder; it just doesn’t do anything for me. It’s like a subpar to average pressed powder. I also find the shade range very limiting–Medium Plus is too dark but Light Medium is too light! I overheard a lot of people are getting Dark Secret–I’m thinking maybe people are going to contour with it instead. I really see this compact as a collector’s item, and by that, I do mean Hello Kitty collector’s item.
Kitty Kouture is a sheer, glittery/shimmery milky pink shade. It’s really not going to give you a ton of color, but it is pretty and catches the eye. I would say of the two dazzleglasses from KK, this is the one that dazzled me the most. (Oh, punny.)
Dazzlepuss is a slightly darker, deeper pink–kind of like a medium pink–with just as much glitter in it. It has more color to it in the swatch, but it’s still very sheer on the lips. This one may show up as a light pink tint if your lips aren’t too pigmented.

the same thing happened to me..i got dazzlepuss too...i pulled it out of the box and put it back in and when i pulled it out this morning and there is a huge deep scratch in the black cap :(....when itried to go exchange it the MAC store was sold out already....sucks!!!! I wouldnt care so much if it wasnt $28.00
got mine in dazzlepuss! however, i think the ring scratched the tube and cap a bit one of the times i took it off and put it back on! =( has this happened to anyone else?

I kind of like the fact that the charm is detachable. However, I wish they would just sell me the charm instead of having to pay $28 for the whole thing. Maybe I can get a discount? $10 for the charm? Just kidding. Thanks for the review Christine!
LOL! You know, I wouldn't be surprised if you could post an "in search of (ISO)" post on the MAC Cosmetics Livejournal community for someone to split it with you -- someone who wants the dazzleglass for $18 and you could pay $10 for the charm ;)
I ended up buying both of these because I couldn't decide on one or the other! They are a bit sheer but I love all the sparkle and shimmer in them.
LOL! I liked the light pink one enough to buy, but then I felt odd just buying one... so both it was!
I grabbed everything from this collection!! They even placed my goodies in a reusable MAC Hello Kitty bag!!! I think I was more excited over that :-)

Oh wow! I can't wait until mine arrives from my online order! Does anyone know if her eyes will have 4 crystals or 2 crystals? I've seen a few pictures of it with 2 crystals and it looks like she's crying. =( I want her to look happy! =)

Thats funny cause i am doing the same thing...i ordered mine online too but tomorrow i am going to buy 1 more of each color at Nordstroms...i got both kitty kouture and dazzlepuss and i love them so much i wanna get 1 more of each since they are limited edition and selling quick...i hope thats not silly....lol :(
I was going to pick one of these up but now I don't know because I just dropped money at clinique because there's a bonus right now and I'm always a sucker for bonus time.
