Not everything, but at least you get an idea about the packaging — which I think looks phenomenal. They don’t look like stickers, and as long as they’re not, this may be some of the best packaging MAC has put out in awhile. (1/6/2010)

Again, MAC really bumps it up with the sharp packaging! With costs on the rise and my wallet not getting any bigger these days, I will hold onto to my pennies until I can actually swatch some colors. Too many dups are popping up.

I was saving my MAC gift card for this launch because I heard there was going to be special packaging.. but this looks a little too “Claires” to me. I’m glad they’re repromoting Vestral White, because I missed it on the first round, but the collection isn’t a must have to me. Looks like I can get cheap nail stickers and get the same effect..

Nice swatches. I do wish the blooming lovely lippie was more gray lilac-y or purpley but it looks nice. I need to see the swatch on mac’s website though. i also like the dame’s desire e/s and the birds & berries e/s. Christine do you think they will move this up since they are now moving the VivaGlam lippies up to tomorrow???
No, I don’t think so. MAC has launches coming out February 18th, February 25th, and March 4th. Since they already have releases slated for pretty much one per week til Give Me Liberty, I doubt they’ll move it up. I believe they moved Viva Glam up because they’re both promoting it on morning shows on Wednesday.

argh! i got to see swatches from this collection last night and the lipsticks look SO NICE! (i was hoping i could just skip this one.) i love that they are amplifieds and look like they have no shimmer. the coral and pink don’t look like anything MAC already has! ARGH!!!
oh well, if all i want are the lipsticks, i have enough containers to back-2-mac and get them for free!
Does anyone know why MAC has kept this under the rader for so long? We already can see the summer items and I have yet to see this whole collection. How am I suppose to know what I want ahead of time without pictures & swatches??
MAC doesn’t send me official press releases until very close to the on-counter date – so any information that comes beforehand is really leaked rather than given out via MAC!

I love the look of this collection and can’t wait to see it come out in the UK! I really want to expand my MAC nail polish collection and both of the colours look really interesting. My one issue is the scarf. Its ridiculously expensive. What does it do grant wishes?

I just wanted to let you ladies know that I have received my MAC Give Me Liberty Collection yesterday. LOVE LOVE LOVE everything!!! I am wearing the bough grey eyeshadow today (it’s more greenish grey than blueish grey), the Petals & Peacock lipstick and the dirty plum blush. All the colors you pretty much see on the swatches on the MAC website and on Temptalia is exact. The blooming lovely lipstick rocks as well. I am so glad I was able to get this stuff before it was sold out. Now, I am going to skip the summer collections and wait for the F/W. I am dying for the “feline” collection!
