M.A.C. seriousl need to reconsider the prices of there eyelashes. Especially with brands like Red Cherry and KISS and Ardell on the market!!
As much as I love MAC lashes, I don't bother buying them. Even with my MAC Pro card, they come out to $8 a pair. I buy my lashes in bulk from http://www.beautyshopoc.com/shop/index.php?cPath=180 (they are Bliss or Red Cherry). The ones from Sally's or a local drugstore are just as good, and you save money. :)
I agree w/ you- for normal natural-glam looks, cheapies are just as good, and for editorial looks these don't look like anything to special- they're not Shu Rainbow Cascades for sure! :) I'll look, of course, but these will likely not be going home w/me.
oooOooh whats a pro card!? does it do something cool? it sounds so exciteing! can anyone have one? is it free?
Nice lashes, never used fake lashes before. I think im gonna give it a try when this collection comes out!
I'll be skipping this collection for sure, I don't see the point in spending so much money in eyelashes, even if they are from MAC, the ones they sell at Drugstore are just as good.
I have been buying lashes in bulk from Hong Kong on the internet to save money but I really do love MAC lashes.
Even with my pro card, MAC's eyelashes are too expensive (especially since I use them on nearly every shoot or show I do!). For my needs I stick with cheepo lashes from Ulta or Sally's. I just can't get over the model's brows! Shabby chic, very cute!
you have to be a makeup artist or in the beauty field to apply for one . you get discounts , etc tho i think if u go to a MacPro store, u can buy what u want.. there are not many MacPro stores around tho there is one in NYC and Boston and None in NJ :-((
omg I agree with you here, red cherry & bliss lashes are great! they go for $1.00/pair at my local store, *yay* :) but there's something about some MAC lashes that I like that's why I buy and where them soemtimes :)
