After years of being just a mere rumor, WWD has confirmed that MAC and Disney will collaborate and launch Venomous Villains. It will launch in September globally at all MAC locations.

MAC Cosmetics is teaming up with Disney to create a limited edition color collection, intended to launch globally in late September in all MAC locations. The products will feature four Disney characters, on which the brand is keeping mum at the moment — although with a collection name of Venomous Villains, it is assumed that we’re not talking Donald Duck and Minnie Mouse here. Lipstick, powder, lip gloss and blush shades will be sold, ranging in price from $12 to $29.50.

*The Queen Of Hearts* [Alice & Wonderland] – seen as there was so much hype surrounding the film and of course Urban Decay collabo….but hey perhaps the above maybe the reason why they this Queen won’t make the cut! “Off with their heads!!!”
Colours: Gold, White, Red, Black, Pink [Rosey Cheeks to match the Queens flamingos!]
*Maleficent* [Sleeping Beauty] – I think this is DEFINATE, going on 27 yrs old and I still shudder at the thought of that witch! :p

Possible products: Some fierce eyelashes!!! Green blusher anybody? Lol just kidding! Glittery Red Dazzleglass!

Does anyone know if there will be e/s in this collection? That would be disappointing if they didn’t. I look forward to who they are going to choose and what color scheme they feel represents each villain.

i ADORE disney, especially the villains…but i think i need to see the products AND the packaging before i get excited…i wasn’t much of a fan of what they did for packaging for hello kitty, dame edna or liberty….it kind of put me off products i would otherwise have considered.
anyway, i hope they go with at least maleficent, cruella and ursula…because they rock…i guess jafar might be a good male to throw in as others have mentioned….probably the beast would be a not-so-good one….

TBH, $29.50 seems really low. It would be a shame to work so hard on the project with Disney and not license merchandise, too! But it’s all quite preliminary at the moment, so let’s not say it’s set in stone.

OMG! This is like a dream come true, lol! I remember talking to my sister in law about 3 years ago about what MAC collections we’d like to see. I distinctly remember saying that I’d want a Hello Kitty or a Disney villains collection. How crazy is it that they ended up doing both of them!? haha
I might be alone on this, but I’d rather have MAC and Disney team up and do a “princess” collection and be released next summer. I’m just not into dark or bold makeup. This will probably be perfect for fall, especially winter.
When I was little I loved Disney. my mom got me the 4 collectors plates of the Disney villain. I defiantly think they are going to follow suit with those.

Watching MAC’s video teaser, my daughter says one of them is the ‘shadow man’ from Princess and the Frog. Then of course there’s Maleficent, the Queen from Snow White and Cruella.
The ‘shadow man’ is apparently called ‘Dr Facilier’. I’ve not seen the film so have no idea what colours they might have for him

So in the trailer I saw Cruella and Maleficent… There’s some weird dude with a top hat with a feather in it, cane/staff and a moustache that I can’t quite place… And I can’t think of the fourth for sure but I’m PRETTY certain it’s the Queen of Hearts?

Disappointing to not see Ursula in the teaser, she APPLIED lipstick with a sea creature by squeezing it.
When I was a child I would squeeze french fries and pretend to apply lipstick like her.

Omg this is super exciting! I have a friend that loves MAC but can’t afford to buy it so I usually get her like a lipstick or gloss for her from time to time. What makes this collection even better is that it is going to be A) on the month of her birthday and B) My friend LOVES Disney villains so know I exactly know what to get her! I hope they put Malificent in there. I am a Malificent Disney pin collector so I am over the moon about this collection. Awesome! Wait ’til my friends over at Disboards hears about this. Woot! I am a huge Disney villian fan. The collection will have to mimic style black in some kind of way. How about some strong, very pigmented eyeshadows in red, purple, yellow and orange. Lots of crystals and bling for sure. Iridescent lip colors…that flects one color to another in the tube.

The Queen from Snow White, Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmations & the only Disney villain with a top hat is Dr. Facilier, from The Princess and the Frog (the only black Disney villain too so there will be some WOC friendly shades I hope).
I’m sure the top hat does not belong to the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland ~ there wasn’t enough hair.
