Dame Edna lipsticks and lipglasses swatches on lips!
As always, these are quick & dirty swatches so if they’re not perfect, you know why!

Coral Polyp

Gladiola

Kanga-Rouge

Splendid

Hot Frost

Possum Nose Pink
at my local stand, vegas volt is the closest to it from the permanent collection...though it isn't exactly the same. don't take my word for it though. there may be more of a selection at other freestanding mac locations and the stores.
I got all of the lipglasses. :D effin gorgeous. i passed on the lipsticks though.... 1. coral polyp looked EXACTLY like my gentle coral tinted lip conditioner (even though it's an amplified color???) 2. Gladiola looks like Up the Amp's and Girl About Town's babeh. 3. i have quite a few red lippies. i HATE HATE HATE that the packaging consists of stickers. that really burns my toast -.-
Wow, Gentle Coral gives me so little color, I couldn't even compare it to Coral Polyp on me at all! But I feel ya on the stickers!
The lipglasses are cute, though I can't say they're must-haves for me. It's good to see Splendid in full-size, though!
Christine, Kanga Rouge looks great on you. I for one will say I like the last 2 glosses, not like I don't have enough. Not sure if I'll get anything from this collection. ;)
Kanga Rouge is actually really lovely... and Gladiola reminds me very much of a purple lipstick I used to rock back in middle school :-p
awesome! im planning to buy coral polyp and gladiola look stunning! does gladiola is close to hollywoodnights?
I don't think it's close to Hollywood Nights at all -- I find Gladiola has a lot of purple-fuchsia undertones, while Hollywood Nights was a dark fuchsia on me.
Thank you so much for these! I was hoping we'd get to see swatches on lips. I have to say Coral Polyp looks amazing on you... I saw it on someone else and it looked so orange-y. I may have to reconsider it.
When I can, I for sure will do them on my lips. Sometimes I am pressed for time or I simply don't buy the products so I can't do the swatches! Coral Polyp is very orange-coral, though! It doesn't remind me of an orange lipstick, but the tone is definitely there.
