Yes, it is similar -- Wisteria is definitely BLUE and not aqua-blue (like Mutiny), and it is just a little lighter.
Mutiny looked really gross on me... maybe that's an indication this will too? hmm, I will have to check it out. But so far this collection seems rather uninspiring. Thanks!

yeah, too warm for me maybe. I was gutted too. But the colours in BBR are really incredible so maybe I'll just pass DE collection for now. Thanks as always! Happy 2009!

I like the purple in the Royal Tour trio, but I already have Cool Heat, so I think I will pass. I love how the nail polish is called "varicose veins", that's hilarious. I wish is was a violet creme & not a duo chrome though. I think I will try & save up for Blonde Brunette Redhead b/c i see myself dropping a lot on that collection.
It's very easy to pass on the trios, just because not all of the shadows are amazing :(

I'm pretty fair, but I want to expierment with red lipstick - would you say Kanga Rouge is a true red? Or is it a bit more orangey? btw - this collection is pretty dissapointing, besides the lippies :(
It's not really orangey, IMO, but it's not my favorite red. I've always liked New York Apple for a raspberry red, then Russian Red for a blue-based red, and of course, Viva Glam for a retro red.
When does this hit stores? Do you think they will release it earlier, since they did on the website?

I didn't think the Wisteria trio was interesting enough, but I do like the swatches! Might have to think about that a bit more. ;) I like the Royal Tour trio and the Gladiola lipstick and Hot Frost lipglass too. Such shame about the powders though... :(
I can't express to you how annoyed I was with the powders. I think it's trickery, IMO, and it's just terrible. Can you see how many people would buy just from the looks alone... and then return? Ugh! Wisteria is so lovely and pretty, but I wish it didn't come with Fineshine/Divine Night :(

Your camera is awesome. I only really was tempted by the pink beauty powder, but now I am not thinking of getting it at all. Hoping I stick to that. The overspray goes away huh.

That's pretty much what I have swatched, albeit with some visible shimmer -- but the color is very similar. :) Just imagine no shimmer with a little more powdery finish. The color is pretty accurate, I think!
Oh Christine, I thought I would make it away from this collection with Kanga-rouge and that's it... now I know I'll be walking away with two trios, two lipsticks and a lipglass...
