MAC Cosmetics PRO Birthday Haul

Date: September 29, 2007 - Posted in: MAC Launch Reviews

What did I end up hauling? Blanc Type and Prussian matte2 shadows, Guava pro gloss, 5 of the 7 beauty powders (didn’t get Paperwhite or Lightly Lilac), Plushblack plush lash mascara, clear lipglass, and Reflects Glitters in: Antique Gold, Bronze, Rust, & Very Pink. I forgot to pick up Lip Erase and Inkspill liquidlast liner, damn!

The trip to the PRO store was a ridiculous amount of fun, because they let us mill around, hauled out the new launches just for us (they’re not out until tomorrow), let us play until our hearts were content, and generally, our makeup artist, David, was awesome. He showed us how amazing the Reflects Glitters are, and how you can really doll up your lips with them! Be sure to look him up if you happen to stop into the San Francisco PRO store, because he’s a veritable fountain of information and pleasant as can be.

i’m so excited about the new beauty powders because i seriously am in love them, i’m trying to collect most of the older pressed ones.

how do you feel about prussian vs. plumage? i didn’t buy prussian because i thought they were too similar. can you share the tips on the glitter reflects? i’m desparately trying to recreate pink clash l/g.

hmm interesting.. yesterday at my a cco, i saw inkspill lll.=/

They’re sooo gorgeous!! I love the texture – divinely smooth and so fine.

I like Prussian because it’s a creamier texture than Plumage. I also found Plumage had more teal in it, and Prussian is really navy blue.

Glitter reflects are amazing on the lips, just mixed with clear gloss, for diamond shine on them. Lash medium + glitter reflects can make lashes stand out a lot.

Aw!! I’ve gotta remember to check out the CCO near my parents’ new house next time I’m there.

Hey Rosa! Lip erase takes out some of the pigment from your lips – kind of like if you put concealer or foundation over them. Beauty powders are loose shimmer with slight pigmentation to be used anywhere and everywhere you see fit!

Just posted a look using the beauty powder :)
