thanks, christine. Just knowing the texture of the products already gives us a better idea.

But it seems to me that there’s another trend emerging: “frequently available for a limited amount of time”. It’s suprising to see re-promotes of charged water en slimshines so quickly. There’s not even a year between them. It seems like a lot of products are getting a semi-permanent status. I’m all for it. It will take the stress away for a lot of people who missed out on things.

:) Definitely. We shall see how it all turns out!

When MAC introduces a totally new product, e.g. slimshines, part of it is testing the market. If it doesn’t do great, it was only limited edition so it’s no sweat off their back. If it does well, that’s great, and if enough consumers write in or talk to MAC telling them how much they loved the new product, they might make it permanent.

Why is it called “N”? kinda an odd name for a collection. I am looking forward to seeing swatches and hitting the mall after the Xmas crowds.

I think N stands for Naked (or Nude). A lot of spring trends seems to be about perfecting the skin (but really, when is it not?) as well as nudes and sheers.
