P.S. – What was your haul?!

Hi Christine I dont know if you will see this, i am after the msf in Global Glow (late on the bandwagon), please let me know if you have a spare one that you would like to sell. Komal
Do you happen to have a tutorial/fotd with the novel twist warm collection??..i know i know...but i just got it at cco thx
Hey hun, I didn't buy anything from Novel Twist from what I remember. If I did, it was just one or two items, so I don't have any FOTDs for it.
I ended up getting Tectonic and Ether mineral e/s and Ether on me looks more black coz apparently, it has more black in its veining..maybe the color result depends on the veining? Also, is it worth having the Rushmetal pigment if I have Copper Sparkle already since the 2 seem so much alike? My friend gave me Copper Sparkle a few days after I bought Rushmetal and now I'm contemplating just exchanging Rushmetal for another item. My hesitation really stems from the fact that Rushmetal is obviously a LE color.
Hey Janis! Sometimes the color does depend on the veining - you might try picking up shadow from one part of the shadow versus swirling and picking randomly, to give you better color ersults. Rushmetal pigment, IMO, has a better consistency than Copper Sparkle, because Copper Sparkle is a bit chunky. However, in terms of color... they are quite similar.
heyyy...im honesty a fan of yours! haha Just wanted to ask you...is the mineralize skin finish collection limited edition? or are they always available? i luuuuvvv this site, keep it up! :)
Hey Leena! Yes, they are limited edition. The only skinfinishes that are permanent are the natural noes. Thanks!
Hi Christine, Great haul, enjoy! And thanks a bunch for the pics/swatches - they were very helpful! Here's my haul: RUSHMETAL (pigments): Gold Mode Mauvement Cocomotion Copperized Revved-up Off the Radar Rushmetal Quick Frost hmm...all 8 lol FLASHTRONIC: Northern Light MSF Global Glow MSF Ether By Jupiter Lovestone Mercurial Perfectly pink l/g Electro-lush l/g Just a few questions: Since I know you are somewhere about a NC30, does Gold spill MSF show up as a highlighter only on you? (even if you get one with a lot of darker veins) and is it very glittery or glowy? By Jupiter - Mine is really glittery - is most of the glitter coming from the mid-tone veins (the taupey gold ones)? Mercurial - this one is pure glitter (with a hint of lilac) no matter what base I use, dry or wet - I'm guessing it's from all the gold? - any tips on how to make more pigment show up with less glitter? Quarry - I might go back for this one - it looks pretty light - does it show up on your lids well? Is it very glittery? And does it show up mainly as an icy blue (or more olive/gold?) on your lids? Thanks so much!!
Wow, what a haul, Meme!!! Gold Spill is more like a highlight/glow on me, not TOO glittery though. Try using By Jupiter wet and see if that decreases the glitter amount. Hmm, the problem with Mercurial may just be that it's naturally chunky in the glitter particles. Try swirling your brush around and then tapping it lightly to get excess off. Quarry wasn't showing up THAT well on me, a little bit, but not enough to make me go WOW GOTTA HAVE IT!
They're not really that close. They're more of a light powder to finish your face than to highlight it.
Hey! Awesome haul. I like the clarity of your pictures! My haul included: northern lights MSF, goldspill MSF, gold mode p/m, copperized p/m and cocomotion p/m. Also, I got a sample of mauvement and quick frost.
I'm so jealous that you got all the pigments! I got gold mode p/m and a sample of copperized, I actually want Rushmetal as well. Nothing from flashtronic, but I got the warm pearlizer set and the indianwood paint pot. I was going back and forth with the cool pearlizer set, but my funds were low.
I'm a pigment addict, so I just had to! lol ;) You might want to ask the makeup artist at MAC for a sample of Rushmetal, they do give them out sometimes!
Wow! You got a lot of stuff! I love your website. You take the best photos! These swatches are very helpful. I only got Northern lights and Global Glow so far, and will go back to get Thrills l/s. Thank you!
these are the best pictures ive seen especially of the MSFs thankyou so much, you have definatly confirmed things i want to buy, i was unsure about the MSFs but these pics have definatly made me sure of what i want, and ive added a couple of other things to my list, thankyou! xxx
Thanks again for the pictures! Now we only have to wait another two and a half weeks in Europe... Also thanks for an interesting, informative, can'tlivewithoutit blog! Your tutorials have changed my life! (and my face ;))
I love the pics! Thank you so much for them! They are really helpful! I am having a problem reading the tiny font on some of them, though. It would be a great help if the font was bigger. The white font is easier to read than the black font.
