MAC Cosmetics Fashion Week Spring 2009 Breakdowns for Day 6

We have three breakdowns straight from the amazing artists at MAC HQ from Day 6 of Fashion Week! Can you spot any new products?

“It’s an experiment in minimalism.” – James Kaliardos

Eyes: Clear Brow Set – used to comb brows up. Pearl cream colour base – inner corners of the eyes.

Face: Sculpt and Shape foundation – applied in lighter tones down the center of the face, and darker shades on temples and cheekbones to subtly contour. Pearl cream colour base – touched onto tops of cheekbones and high planes of temples.

Lips: Lip Conditioner – placed lightly into the center of the bottom lip.

“It’s that end of summer bronze, as natural as possible, and really buffed.” – Romy Soleimani

Eyes: Dusk cream colour base – buffed onto lids. Dazzle Lash mascara – applied to curled lashes.

Face: Sculpt and Shape foundation – applied to face in one tone darker than natural skin tone. Bronze and Orange cream colour base – blended into cheeks.

Lips: E-Z Baby tendertone – touched onto lips.

Eyes: Smolder eye kohl – applied to waterline and top lash line then blended. Boot Black liquid liner – applied over top lashline. Silver Fog pigment – diffused and buffed over lid, lower lashline into a cat eye shape. Carbon eye shadow – blended into the crease. Reflects Pearl glitter pigment – blended on top of lid. Zoom Lash zoomblack – several coats applied to curled lashes. Spiked brow pencil – used to draw a dark straight brow.

Face: Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 – applied to face for matte hyper-perfected skin.

Lips: Subculture lip pencil – touched around the edges of the lips. Select Moisturecover Concealer – placed on the center of the lips and blended into the cream colour base.
