even though i lean towards dramatic, intense colors, i’m super excited for this collection because i see these colors working beautifully during winter. especially excited for new paint pots, the highlighting powders and lipsticks!

FYI people, I covered backstage during last weeks New York Fashion Week and this stuff was at just about every show. Beautiful collection. I’m excited to finally see it come out in stores.

The model for the campaign is ugly but at least she’s unique with it. I like her hair and strong cheekbones.
Also Flustered lipstick and the lip gelees sound good, and the paint pots. Oh OK also the beige lip conditioner.
I have to say. I feel that this collection is suppose to represent natural, gentle and calm, but the model is scaring the bejesus out of me. Yikes! She’s seems too rough for this collection.

I’m excited for the Caviar Dreams Eyeshadow Quad! I have Brule, nothing special but it’s a handy shade to have. Dying to try Retrospeck out, and the two others look great, too. Finally a palette that I actually want!
I wonder if the Fix+ Lavender will be a succes, seeing as the originel smell is divine enough already.

I’ll probably pick up Feline and one of the nail polishes, but fortunately for my wallet, the rest of the collection doesn’t really do it for me.

Finally a scented Fix+ to replace the plain smelling one. I love that they are offering it in Lavender! I was so sad when they discontinued Fix+ Rose so this will make me happy again
Can someone tell me what is so good about the paint pots? They don’t work as a base for me. They crease terribly after awhile. Have to use a base under that base haha.

oh wow that comfort cream sounds alot like BB creams. I wonder if it’s because of popular demand in Asia that they’re trying it out in the U.S?
For your information, BB creams are these tinted mosturizer/skincare product/ sunscreen. Many people absolutely love this product and it’s a major major hit in Asia.
The Comfort Cream is from Px’s line and has been around for years!

I’m liking the look of the tinted lip conditioner. I own a plain one but even then, my lips are too dry for nude lipsticks, even lustres/glazes. So maybe this could work!!

i’m no prude and living in France i’m used to seeing plenty of nude ads, but for US , it’s kind of shocking that MAC chose to blatantly put a nipple in their ad that will undoubtedly be in poster-size format in malls across America. it’s trying a little to hard IMO.

EEK! Two new collections launching on the same day??! Eh! I’m holding out for the Mickey Contractor Collaboration-BUT there has been soo much talk in the beauty world about Feline Kohl pencil that I HAVE to pick one up.
Definitely will check out the new paint pots…I bought Rubanesque as my first one ever and I kinda regret it because I’m NC44.5 and its very sheer on me! Would love to get soft Ochre, Indianwood and Constructivist from the permanent line first before getting any frosty finish ones!

The products look pretty, but what on Earth did they do to the models in the promo pics? The dark girl looks like a crumpled newspaper and the white girl just looks weird. I bet they’d be much prettier without the makeup on
