Is the Fix+ Rose worth getting? I just came home from MAC but I didn’t get to check it out since I got carried away with other items lol
Kristina – I was at MAC this past weekend at that was the same question I asked the MUA. She said the only difference between Fix+ Rose & regular Fix+ was the rose extract which gives it the rose scent. If you’ve never tried Fix+, then I say you go for it cause in my opinion, it’s a great product. I use it set my makeup when i’m done applying. It gives you a dewy glow & takes away any powdery look. If you love the scent of Rose, go for Fix+ Rose. If you don’t like a rose scent, then just get the regular one. They both serve the same purpose.
Thanks Nicole! My Fix+ is running low so I was thinking about getting the Rose one… but if the only difference is the rose scent then I’ll just get the regular one.. I’m not big on rose scented stuff. Thanks again!
yeah i tried on the fix plus rose one and i couldnt tell a difference or a smell.

It’s hard to tell. It’s interesting, because at first sight Rose Romance didn’t moves me anything, but more I watch more I want. I like everything now, but especially Way to Love and the blushes won my heart.

I was so excited about this collection as I was obsessing over the product photos on the MAC website and blogs, but when i went today and saw it in person I was so disappointed! None of the eyeshadows or pigments looked pretty once swatched, and while the beauty powders are described as being sheer, they might as well be described as completely invisible. i was impressed with the formula of the cream blush, but it was too red for my blotchy skin. in the end all i ended up getting was the fix + rose :/
Awww, at least that’s good for your wallet, maybe?
The gel blush blends out quite a bit, so it might not really be as red as you think – you might want to try it first!

This is random but Christine do you know where I could find discontinued MAC or Lancome makeup? Like a store or something? Thanks.
There are Cosmetic Company Outlets, which are found at some outlet centers in the U.S. that carry discontinued or limited edition overstock from Estee Lauder companies (so not Lancome). For MAC, you can also call Gone But Not Forgotten (just search for it on their website), which helps you locate discontinued products!
Sometimes you can also find d/c M-A-C at Neiman Marcus outlets or Off 5th, the Saks Fifth Avenue outlet store. I’m not sure whether or not either sells Lancome but it’s worth a look because they do carry a few other brands like Stila and Estee Lauder as well.
