Kind of like last night’s, but I think it’s a variation of it, brighter. I tried to recreate last night’s look so I could do a tutorial for it, but this is what happens when you don’t remember/look up what you actually used and use pictures as reference! It’s amazing what a different color shirt can do to a look.  Would you wear this look?  Tell me why/why not in the comments!

I used Black Ore solar bits with mixing medium on lid, Goldmine eyeshadow on inner lid, Evening Aura eyeshadow (LE) on middle of lid, Antiqued eyeshadow on outer lid, Carbon eyeshadow on outer lid and crease, Femme-fi eyeshadow (LE) above crease and on brow, Goldmine eyeshadow on inner lash line, Black Ore solar bits (LE) on outer lower lash line, Graphblack technakohl on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. I had Other Worldly blush (LE) on cheeks with Daisydust beauty powder to highlight. I wore Brew lipstick with Supreme lipglass (LE) and Pink Grapefruit lipglass (LE).

** These are recommendations for dupes based on permanent colors available — may not necessarily be identical; they are the closest I can think of!

Black Ore = Carbon + Antique Gold reflects glitter; Evening Aura = Juiced + Nylon; Femme-fi = Shroom; Supreme = Chai; Pink Grapefruit = Lychee Luxe

I just bought Black Ore today!

How are you liking the Solar Bits? I think they sort of define what an LE release should be…(Dazzleglass is also) a specific new formula. I bought Sun Power too..but it looks like there is less in the container? Did you buy this one?

    • Hey Monique! I am enjoying enough to be satisfied with my purchase–I don’t think I’d rush out to buy the other three, but I love the color and blackness of Black Ore.

It does look like there could/should be more pigment in the jar, but it probably goes by weight not volume.

  4. I will 100% try this look out when I get Black Ore! Otherworldly is such a gorgeous colour on you! <3

Yep, I’d wear this look. Black Ore looks so pretty. Awesome job!

Does the solar bits get in or irritate your eyes? This is my major concern because my eyes are pretty sensitive.

    • Thanks, Dawn!

You know, I notice my eyes flutter a bit if it gets in my eyes compared to pigments, but generally speaking, I didn’t get any real fall out into my eyes.
