Looks – Fresh Green Mix with Dainty Is Lovely

I tried out Fresh Green Mix yesterday over Cash Flow paint pot – interesting combo. I think I will try the same duo today, but over a green base instead. I LOVE Dainty – anyone who thinks it isn’t pigmented enough for deeper skintones is nuts. Totally popped on my cheeks (I’m NC30) with EASE. I used the 129 brush (finally have a use for it!), and it worked like a dream.
I used Cash Flow paint pot on lid, Fresh Green Mix mineralize eyeshadow duo (solid side) (LE) all over lid, Fresh Green Mix mineralize eyeshadow duo (marbled side) (LE) on outer crease and lid, Ricepaper eyeshadow above crease and on brow to highlight, Fresh Green Mix mineralize eyeshadow duo (solid side) (LE) on lower lash line, Graphblack technakohl on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. I had Dainty mineralize blush on cheeks. I wore Fast Thrill lipstick (LE) with Politely Pink lipglass (LE) on my lips.
** These are recommendations for dupes based on permanent colors available — may not necessarily be identical; they are the closest I can think of!
Cash Flow = Copper (metal) pigment; Fresh Green Mix (solid side) = Bitter; Fresh Green Mix (marbled side) = Sumptuous Olive; Dainty = Dame (eh…) Fast Thrill = Bombshell; Politely Pink =
I love this look and decided to wear it today! I don't have Cash Flow so instead used Pastorale pigment... It looks great, just not as bright and fresh. I totally need to get my hands on Cash Flow!

Oh my! Dainty looks sooo good on you! I got Dainty and even though it lightly shows up on me, it just too pretty to return....and besides, it looks pretty chillin' on my vanity. lol!

What would be a good substitute for Cash Flow paint pot? It is impossible to find anymore :(
Hi HotPink Butterfly, You could try Gold (metal) pigment instead, or even something like Rubenesque layered with Patina eyeshadow.
I LOVE this look!! I bought two shadows from this collection, but I have to take them both back! They irritated my eyes so bad I couldn't stand it! This has never happened with MAC before!

Pretty! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new blushes! I have Dainty and it is awesome! I actually only bought Gentle and Dainty but I love the texture, smoothness, and intensity of these blushes so much I'm going to buy more!

Hi, I'm looking for a post that has something to do with eye shadows in every line. I'm not sure if there is one or this would be the first. Ok, my story is this. Ever since I got into MAC (since Barbie line), every limited ES that I get in each line I want them to be together as in these are the combinations of es I used. I want to know if it's just me? I want to organize my es collection by line. Is this something that can be done? I feel like all es that I get from every collection goes all together and nothing else. Sorry, this is long but I need YOUR HELP. Thank you so much. Abie

I agree - isn't Dainty great? When I swatched it on my hand I was undecided. I had the MA put it on me & when I saw myself in natural light I was really impressed! Needless to say I bought it the next day.
It is surprisingly lovely on! I didn't think it was going to be as pigmented, but it definitely is. Glad it works for you, too!
Christine, you look great as always. Are you trying a new foundation? You look different (not a bad thing, different, but beautiful as always!) I Have a question! Did you have to layer a lot of dainty on? Or is tht with just one or two swipes? I keep hearing that it's not as pigmented, and we're both NCS.. but I'm NC42 so just wondering!
