I tried to do something kind of “classic” in terms of makeup for upcoming Valentine’s Day. (I wore the complete opposite practically when my boyfriend and I went out on our early Valentine’s dinner on Monday–I’m sick and didn’t want to lose my taste if we went closer to the date, ha.)  By the way, I put on false lashes in less than a minute! Success!  Finally!  Seriously, I have always been 100% lash stupid.  I felt like dancing 😉  Also, working on a tutorial as you read this… Done!

I used Cash Flow paint pot all over lid, Goldmine eyeshadow on inner lid, Patina eyeshadow on middle lid, Bronze eyeshadow on outer lid, Smut eyeshadow in outer crease and very outer corner, Bamboo eyeshadow on brow and above crease, Smut eyeshadow on lower outer lash line, Goldmine eyeshadow on inner lower lash line, and Graphblack technakohl on lower waterline. I had Margin blush on cheeks with Sculpt sculpting powder to contour. I wore Russian Red lipstick with Russian Red lipglass on lips.

False Lashes (#7s)

This look is great on you. I love the light eyes, with red lips, and the black shirt completes it. Wonderful job as usual. =D

I like that I can wear this to work…not sure if I could do the Russian Red, but could definitely do one of the pinks like Dejarose or something. I think that would compliment the gold theme of the eye too :) Yay!

Hey Christine! OMG you did lashes under a minute…I have #7’s too and have been completely afraid of using them b/c I think I’m 100% lash stupid. Shoot I should try them now…you’ve given me inspiration :)

    • Thanks Shefali! OMG, yes! I didn’t know it was possible! The KEY is to let it dry so that the glue is nearly dry… as in, wait for it, wait for it, and when you think it’s ready, KEEP WAITING!

Beautiful! I wish I could pull of red lipstick. I just don’t think I can, though. You look stunning.

    • Thanks, Whit! You know what, I bet you can. I don’t really think I can personally, but I always get complimented when I do, so there must be something to it.
