Using my new Kryolan stuff! Apparently the palette they gave me was exclusive to international wholesalers, but they said they are going to make a US exclusive palette once I post it (which is… now!). It is an eight color eyeshadow palette #5308-SF ($75.00). I’ve included a picture of the palette, so you can see it! All of the shadows are incredibly pigmented, and each eyeshadow is HUGE!
P.S. – Apologies for the weird looking lashes, testing a new mascara!

I used True Chartreuse pigment on all over lid, Kryolan Gold eyeshadow on inner lid, Kryolan AB23 (bright matte green) on middle of lid, Kryolan TK2 (bright matte turquoise) on outer lid, Kryolan Steel eyeshadow on outer crease, MAC Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow above crease, MAC White Tie eyeshadow on brow, Kryolan TK2 eyeshadow on outer lower lash line, Kryolan Gold eyeshadow on inner lower lash line, and Feline kohl power on lower water line. I had MAC Springsheen blush with MAC Harmony blush to contour on my cheeks. I wore MAC CB96 lipstick with MAC Vibrational lipglass.

Hmm…that looks like a really fabulous mascara. I am incredibly envious of your ability to pull off all that color. I feel like I’d look like a clown with my fair coloring. What kind of color would you suggest a fair-skinned blond could pull off?
Christine

It’s Lancome High Definicils if you’re interested :)
I think you can pull of ANY color, honest!

LOVIN’ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where can we purchase this palette at?? And what would the “damage” be??? Thanks!! :D
Christine
Friday, February 15, 2008
Thank you! It’s $75, which is just over $9 per shadow. Each shadow is 3g compared to MAC’s, which are only 1.5gs and cost $10.50 for a pan of eyeshadow.

Yeah, I wonder what the damage would be as well. I would like to see a swatch between MAC pro’s Lime and this vibrant green you have here… Hm!

Honestly, Lime is not nearly as vibrant nor as smooth. I wanted to buy Lime but was totally disappointed in the color pay off and texture!

Looks lovely on you :) I discovered Kryolan when I was a teenager.. we have an awesome shop in my home town that sells heaps of their stuff and they sell other theatrical make up etc. I loved the little pots with pigment stuff in them! They were very sparkly. Now I’m tempted to go back to them again!

OK GIRL, SO IM LIKE STUCK ON MAC. AND ITS HARD FOR ME TO GET THE COURAGE TO TRY SOMETHIN NON MAC. LOL. SO TELL ME, HOW IS THIS PRODUCT? THE SWATCHES LOOK GREAT. AND THEY LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE A WIDERANGE OF COLOURS. BUT HOWS THE PRODUCT??
Christine

Hey! I really do like the shadows. I feel like they have really great color payoff, and I haven’t been disappointed in how they wear. The texture is soft and creamy for the mattes. I do find that the non-mattes tend to flake a little bit when you dip your brush onto the shadow, but they apply well.

Hey! I know this is over a year later, but how did you get the matte shadows to be so vibrant? I got this palette a couple months ago but I can’t get the mattes to look that vibrant. I try putting on more, but its so dry it doesn’t stick. Thanks for your input!

Try it over a matte base – like Soft Ochre paint pot by MAC or UDPP!
