Look: Stila All Doll’d Up Palette Blue, Green, & Teal Eyes
Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

Here’s a look using the Stila All Doll’d Up Palette that I reviewed and LOVED so much.
What’s on the agenda for today? I’m about two minutes away from being late for leaving for my morning classes (one on federal taxation and another on cyberspace), aka I better get my butt MOVING! How’s your Wednesday going?
You will need the following…
- Eyes: MAC Mutiny pigment (teal), Stila All Doll’d Up Palette (light green, blue, and teal), MAC Prussian eyeshadow (navy blue), MAC Femme-fi eyeshadow (highlight), Stila Cobalt Clutch Smudge Pot (blue liner), Plushlash mascara (black)
- Cheeks: MAC Fleurry blush (coral peach), Dior Amber Diamond Skin Shimmer (bronze highlighter)
- Lips: MAC Brave New Bronze lipstick (pinky nude), MAC New Spirit lipglass (peachy orange), MAC Tartlette lipglass (coral)
- Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 219 (pointed crease brush), 214 (smudge brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Mutiny = Teal + Frozen White; light green = Juxt; blue = Tilt; teal = Shimmermoss; Femme-fi = Shroom; Brave New Bronze = Velvet Teddy; New Spirit = Fresh Buzz (not a great dupe); Tartlette = Lychee Luxe
Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Mutiny pigment all over the lid as the base with the 249. On the inner lid, pack Stila’s light green eyeshadow on using the 239. Apply the medium blue eyeshadow to the middle and outer portions of the lid. Darken the outer lid and crease with the teal eyeshadow using the 226, then deepen with Prussian eyeshadow with the 219. Sweep Femme-fi eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Cobalt Clutch on lower lash line. Apply Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Fleurry blush using the 129, then highlight with Dior Amber Diamond Skin Shimmer with the 188. Apply Brave New Bronze lipstick to lips, and then top with New Spirit and Tartlette lipglass for color and shine.

So pretty! Wow that is some awesome macro lens you got.. it really captured the colors of your eyes!
hey can you do some swatches for the mac trend fall/winter 09 collection? the palette is called tone grey? thanks!!
I'm very glad you're doing this! After such a rave review, I went and checked out the palette and ended up geting one. You really helped influence my opinion to get it! I'm super, super glad that you're helping me make the most of it-- I hope you do more looks using this palette!
I love when you wear jewel tones - it really makes your eyes sparkle. SO happy I ordered Cobalt Clutch, too!
i love this look christine! i wish could be as bold about colour. oh and your sking looks so amazing in the pic!
Aw, thanks so much, Kushani! You can be as bold -- just try it! If you don't like it, you can always wash it off :)
I love the Mutiny pigment! Christine, do you know if Brave New Bronze is close to High Def lipstick?
I love the liner! How would you compare Stila's cobalt clutch to MAC's Royal wink? Is it safe on the waterline? I think you have me convinced on the palette though!
Thanks, Lana! Royal Wink has more of a purple cast to it on me (not quite so blue). I'm not sure what the safety is on this, actually... I presume it's not, though, if only because it has some shimmer in it.
oooohk that's beautiful, you always do the best things with the blues and greens. Are you planning on being a mermaid for halloween by chance?
Aww, thank you, Bettina! :) I don't usually do anything for Halloween, so no costume planned here! What about you?
I was not excited about the Stila Cobalt Clutch Smudge Pot (blue liner) when I saw in this month's Ulta advertisement. However, now that I see it on you I am going to check it out on Friday in the store. I am going to have a makeover by the Urban Decay rep but since I have so many of their 24/7 pencils I may have to buy the Stila instead.
I loved the look itself, but not on you. Your brows are too thick and square and the cheeks compete with the eyes... You're beautiful, Christine - just not in this makeup!
I haven't seen a look of yours in soo long. I've missed them & they are gorgeous as ever. i really can't wait to get that darn palette.
Aw, there was one just last week, lol! I've been sick for the past week and haven't wanted to put anything on my face whatsoever :( Thank you!
YAY! Love it, love it, love it! I just wish I had an eyeliner that could dupe the one you are using, it's so pretty and goes great with this look. I wonder if Blue Herizon Liquidlast would be similar.
Blue Herizon is very similar -- it's probably just a little brighter and has a shimmery look, IMO, in comparison. Thank you!
I love the look and the colors. It goes great with brown eyes and really makes them pop. Unfortunately this makeup is not so great for me, my eyes being green.
