  1. I actually picked this color up a few weeks ago and I love wearing it with MAC Shroom on the lip, MAC Rule about half way to the brow, MAC Hot Hot Hot in the crease and MAC Fig in the corners. It kind of gives a sunset effect – very pretty! For cheeks – I use MAC Style blush, and for lips I keep them nude – MAC creme de nude lipstick and with Nars strip tease gloss.

I would use Straw Harvest or Expensive Pink on the inner lind, Da Bling! on the middle of lid, Hot Hot Hot on the outer corner, and then Very Violet in the Crease. On cheeks i would use BB’s Calypso Coral Pot rouge and then MAC’s Fresh salmon lipstick.

  3. Dude-I have used this color almost nonstop since I got it. This look is my favorite.

Although I was happy with this one as well.

The color is SO versatile! One of these days, I’ll get around to pairing it with some greens, and browns, rather than just playing with Crosswire lips, and accents in purple and fuchsia.

That said, I kind of wish I had it when I did this look, because Red Brick was a little more harsh than hothothot would be for the outer corner.

    Oh well, live and learn.

(HEHEHE FINALLY! A look book product I already own!)

OMG I love your looks, the first one I have all those colours exactly so I am going to try it tomorrow.

I like perky with hot hot hot together, but when I wore it or Valentine’s day apparently it was too much for work.

      • Thanks! I tend to be a bit over dramatic with my makeup, but usually, if i haven’t found a way to wear a combination in a given setting, its because I assume I haven’t thought about it enough. maybe blend Perky with something softer, and just use hothothot for accents? Maybe gold, or gold or a neutral pink like UD’s Sellout, Hothothot in the outer corner of the eye, and lower lash line, Perky in the crease? For lips, maybe do something neutral with a pinky tone, like Phlox, or Sweetie, or even a nude lipstick with a semi-sheer coral gloss over it(I just blend clear gloss with lipstick to make my own colors, since I don’t have money to buy those from MAC as well!)

I used it with Cranberry, for that “heroin-chic” look. I just had Cranberry on the lid..Hot Hot Hot in the crease and blended up..and then a matte highlighter like Mylar or Blanc Type. Finished it with black liner on top and a light amount of black liner on bottom water line.

  5. I’d pair Hot Hot Hot with Nocturnelle, Shady Lady and Trax to darken and smoke it out a bit. Hot Hot Hot all over the lid, Trax in the crease and Nocturnelle on the outer v of the crease. Use precisely applied gold eyeliner or shadow(Star Harvest or Goldmine) on the lower lash line and in the inner corner of the eye. Use a black volumizing mascara and liner or Shady Lady shadow to define the lashes. Soft, natural lip colour for the lips, and perhaps a hint of a merlot shaded lip gloss. Use a matte, neutral blush such as Personal Style to add some definition to the cheeks.

    Orgasm blush by NARS :)

I love this color. I put flip on the lid. Perky blended into the crease and lower brow bone. Then I layer hot hot
hot in the crease. Then use burnt burg. Pigment with a pencil brush and blend it in to kind of
cut the crease. Then layer them under the lash line.

I wore this the other day on my eyelids, with Embark eye shadow in the inner and outer corners, and the bright yellow gold crushed metal pigment (from stack 2) on the centre of the lid. Black liner, mascara and lashes. Gold Rebel lipglass on lips and bronzer to contour cheekbones.

  9. I’m wearing this today, so I figured I’d come all the way back here to leave my comment. It’s an all-MAC day!

    Eyes:
    Straw Harvest all over lid
Hot Hot Hot over all of that (the SH mellows it out just a tad)
Swiss Chocolate in outer corner/smudged into crease
    Nylon in inner corners
Claire de Lune as a brow highlight

    Cheeks:
    Ripe Peach Ombre as blush
Nuance Mineralize blush just lightly over that

    Lips:
Hue (my MLBB color) as lipstick
Frankly Fresh as gloss (though I debated using Nymphette!)

I only recently got my Hot hot hot and these are the two looks I tried and loved with my blue eyes:

First I tried to use similar shades to SCF that I didn’t buy for a sunset look but I added more yellow to it:
Bright sunshine on inner lid, HHH on middle, Romping on outer corner, Vibrant Grape on crease and blending+hihglight with Evening Aura.

Second was all coral and I used Paradisco on lid, HHH on crease and again blending and highlight with Evening Aura.
