If you were using MAC’s Lotusland eyeshadow?, what look would you create with it? What shadows would you use? What would you use on cheeks? Anything added to the lips?

Funny you should ask. I wore it today :). I have on Girl Friendly paint pot. I applied Lotusland to my lid. I put Stars N Rockets in my crease and on the outer edge(less than a third) of my lid. I used All That Glitters as a higglight(which doesn’t really matter as I have bangs). Have on Feline eyeliner just the top lid and 3 coats of ProLash.

Nice! Do you find Girlfriendly is a good base for it?

I did. It lasted through most of the day and even though GF is Pink, it’s the same color family so essentially it’s neutral. It doesn’t alter the color at all.

Oh I’m so glad you posted this. I bought Lotusland the other day and honestly I don’t like it very much. I’ve actually considered returning it because the color payoff is nothing like what I expected and it’s too close to Stars and Rockets to me.

I’m surprised you find it similar to Stars ‘n Rockets! They’re on totally different planets for me, I swear!

I thought they were similar at first, but since I put them on together I can tell you for sure, they’re not the same color at all. SNR is a good 2 or 3 shades darker.

Well I found Stars and Rockets to be more violet in comparison, but what bothers me about Lotusland is like… It’s so shiny that you can’t even see the color, I guess! lol
