  1. Nice to meet you.
    I live in Japan.
The price of MAC of Japan is very high.
Where is the place where MAC is sold on the site in the United States?
Please teach the site delivered to Japan.
Please teach the Web site where MAC is sold.

Mac has an online store, at http://www.maccosmetics.com/ but they only ship to the US, not to other countries. Mac does not want others to sell their products, so buying other places online is risky – you might get fakes.

Ebay is also risky, but there are some reliable sellers, like this one: http://stores.ebay.com/Mac-Attack-Central which I buy from. The cost might not be as cheap as you hoped, but you get real mac, and maybe it is still cheaper than in Japan?

      I hope this helps :)

    • Hi Miki! ^-^

I’m going to go to Japan very soon and, during the travel, I want to buy some MAC items. Can you give me some informations about the prices?

For example, how much an eyeshadow cost in Japan? Please, let me know the prize in yen.

      Thanks so much.

I think I use Stars n Rockets almost every day!!! haha maybe I need more eyeshadows? No, but really, I love this eyeshadow color so much and I think it can be paired with almost anything. I think my favorite combination is Lure on the inner lid, Stars n Rockets on the outer lid, Parfait Amour in outer V and outer crease, Beautiful Iris in the middle of the crease, more Stars and Rockets above the crease, Pink Freeze as a highlight, and then Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Lust on the lower lash line and the very outer part of the upper lash line. Did I mention I love this eyeshadow? haha

  3. I would use Stars N Rockets with the combination that I thought of. I would apply Dear Cupcake on the inner lid, Stars N Rockets on the outer lid and work it up to the crease. Then, I would put Parfait Amour in the outer crease and use Sugarshot or Nylon as highlight.

  4. Stars N Rockets is AWESOME when you play with it over a black or gray base. Because of the duochrome nature of the shadow you can get these gorgeous blues and purples – colors you wouldn’t expect.

thanks for the tip–i just got stars n rockets last week, and tried it out today over blacktrack on the lids, with a bit of mancatcher on the browbone, after reading your comment. it has a nice effect over the black!

  5. hi

Oh, I love this eyeshadow! I would use Stars ‘n’ Rockets on the middle lid, with Naked Lunch on the browbone, Crystal on the inner lid, and Nocturnelle on the outer lid dragged into the crease. Darken the crease with Shadowy Lady and dust the outer lid and crease with a bit of Carbon to deepen a little. Apply your favorite black liner on the lower lashline and smudge it with Shadowy Lady (and line the upper lashline if desired) and apply black mascara. Fill, color, and shape the brows with your powder/pencil. Apply Breath of Plum mixed with Well Dressed on the apples of cheeks for a soft, light plum-pink cheek. Finish with Hot Gossip lipstick and gloss, and blot for soft but not OTT shine. And THAT would be the unlitimate pink-n-purple FOTD! :D

My favorite is a fresco technique “barbie” look. Apply a base, and then use MUFE’s fushia face/eye paint on the outer half of the lid, into the crease. Apply a thick coat of Stars N Rockets over it, blending slightly above the pink cream(it will be fairly creamy, so you DO need to apply thick). Blend Swish or Sunset B into the inner half of the lid, and towards the stars n rockets. Highlight with a soft neutral pink or nude(honesty, jest, UDs midnight cowboy rides again, etc.) blend it a little bit more, touch up colors if needed, put mascara on. Put a little bit of Beauty Marked on the outer corner of the lids, blended gently inwards. Over that, you can use either a black, or purple liner on the outer 1/3 of both lids, blending inwards. I like MUFE’s aquaeyes black, or UD’s Rockstar. Use a pinky lipstick or gloss, I use sweety, its my favorite.

I don’t have a real great picture, since my camera doesn’t have the macro setting for good makeup shots. Its a shame, but its REALLY a gorgeous look.

i don’t use stars n’ rockets because i have other colors that look just like it [UD Fishnet, MAC pink pearl pigment] :) but i WILL try some of these out. they sound gorgeous.

  9. I actually use Stars ‘n Rockets with a combination that you did a while back. Electra on the inner third, Stars ‘n Rockets in the middle, and Parfait Amour on the outer lid. And I use Dazzlelight to highlight. NARS Deep Throat blush on my cheeks and NARS Mulitple in Copacabana to highlight my cheekbones. I finish with a pink lip, maybe Syrup lipstick.

i love stars n rockets. i did a purple eye purple lip look once when i went to the mall.

bare study as a base, lemon chiffon on the inner lid, red velvet on the outerlid, shore leave on the inner lid, stars n rockets on the outer lid, moons reflection in the crease and outer-V, and deepen the outer-V with pandamonium, do the same on the bottom lash line, line your eyes, and use the pink hello kitty glitter liner just above your top black liner, mascara, brows, etc and for the lips, fashion mews + dazzlepuss, and scupt n shape contour the cheeks and any msf for cheek highlight.

what can i say, its a daring purple look =)

  11. team it with paradisco, bitter and nylon :)

Great post – I love Stars N’Rockets! I have a few combinations that I really like.

I really like it using Girl Friendly paintpot as a base (dusky pink colour), Stars N’Rockets all over lid, Fig 1 in the crease and Shroom as a highlight. It looks really cool and kind of two-tone, as Stars N’Rockets and Fig 1 blend together really nicely. I also used it recently with Fig 1 to make a smoky eye look. I used Bare Study as a base (shimmery beige), Fig 1 all over lid, Stars N’Rockets in crease and slightly overlaying with the Fig 1, Seedy Pearl in the inner corner and Vanilla as a highlight.

Stars N’ Rockets also goes really nicely with a shimmery green – I’ve used it with Urban Decay Green Goddess and it looks really nice (I think Mac Steamy is perhaps a good dupe for this). I used Stars N’ Rockets on the inner lid, Green Goddess on the outer lid and I sometimes also use Humid in the crease to make it a bit more defined. I also add a little Stars N Rockets on the inner lower lashline and Green Goddess on the outer lower lashline. I’ve used Girl Friendly paintpot on the inner lid and Green Stroke paintpot on the outer lid as a base to intensify this look and it goes really nicely together. It also looks cool if you use the colours the other way round, with Green Stroke on the inner lid and Stars N’Rockets on the outer lid.

My most complimented look ever is with Aquadasiac on the inner third of the lid Stars N Rockets on the outer lid. I do Blacktrack liner with lots of mascara. I usually do Dollymix blush too. A light pink looks good with this too.

I really love stars ‘n rockets is of my favorites :D
I like to line my eyes with a blue pencil and on top stars and rockets
and it create an amazing bluee that really make your eyes pop

hmmm. I did a sugarsweet look that I loooved last week.

aquavert on the inner lid, stars n rockets outer lid, dear cupcake in the crease, fig. 1 in the outer v, dazzlelight to highlight and jade way technakohl liner for bottom liner with black liner on top, it was WAY pretty.

I like using it over a black base too, if you blend the base out well enough you can get away with just using stars n rockets from lid to brow since it diffuses from the bluey-purple back into the pinky color.

also stars n rockets all over lid with vibrant grape in the crease.

It’s one of the few e/s that I’ve hit pan on, I love it so much.

    Cheeks: Redhead Mineralize Skinfinish

I’ve been using the hell out of this shadow recently. My fave current combo is Stars & Rockets on the lid, 100 Strokes in the crease, and Vellum as an inner corner highlight.
