I love bitter on the inner third of my eyes smoked out with a goldish brown like tempting. Then I deepen it up with Embark or Brun in the outter corners and keep a neutral highlight like shroom or ricepaper. Its really pretty and not over the top.

I’ve done a similar look to this and it looks lovely. I agree – Bitter looks really nice with Tempting and a little Embark :o)

I LOVE bitter all over the middle of the lid with flashtrack (shimmery dark navy blue) in the outer V and frost (frosty white) for highlight. then line the eye with MAC prussian pencil accent with a white eyeliner.

it’s such a beautiful, strong colour that i just wear it on it’s own on the lid blended out with vanilla eyeshadow, with some pink blusher.

Whenever I’m doing a green eye, I love to throw Bitter in the corners with a little Chartreuse pigment over it. Instant pop! I also love it paired with Wondergrass e/s (in the entire crease) with a little Landscape Green pigment in the outer crease. Bitter is one of my favorites!

  5. Use bare study paint pot, and then apply bitter on the wholelid and shimmermoss on the crease. Make sure that it is blended so it looks smooth and subtle. Apply a soft brown kohl liner.

I just purchased bitter yesterday! I think I would use bitter on the entire lid, Swiss Chocolate in the crease and motif in the inner corners.

I’m wear Bitter all over lid. I packed it on over Pearl CCB. I put Femme-FI to highlight, and Beautiful Iris to line lower lash line. It looks really exotic. I used black liquid liner and major mascara. I used Dollymix blush and bronzer too. I’m using Palatial Lustreglass on my lips. I love this look.

Because this is so bright, you can pretty much pair it with anything. I like to use it with Gorgeous Gold and Nylon on the inner lid, Bitter on the middle lid, with Humid on the outer lid. Drag Humid into the crease and darken with Carbon. Take a dusting of Golden Olive pigment and apply it VERY lightly over the lid to intensify the colors. Finish with Nylon on the brow bone and apply black kohl on the upper and lower lashlines. Smudge with humid, apply Springsheen blush and CB96 lipstick under Melt in your Mouth cremesheen glass and you’re done! Love it!

  9. I just recently bought bitter and though I love it, I have a hard time figuring out what to do with it

I like bitter on the whole lid, satin taupe on the outer v/crease, and vanilla to highlight. nice and simple

bitter is one of the eyeshadows i regret buying from mac, i dont know what to wear with it and i barely ever reach for it. sadly its collecting dust, figuratively speaking of course :), in my palette. i shall try some of these ideas out though, they sound great.
