Lea Michele @ 2010 Emmy Awards
2010 Emmy Awards: Lea Michele
Lea Michele had a faded navy blue that extended from lash line to crease, paired with a subtly bronzed cheek and a pinky-nude lip.
Makeup Breakdown
NARS Cosmetics worked with celebrity makeup artist Melanie Inglessis to create the makeup look for Lea Michele at the 2010 Emmy Awards. Many products from NARS’ new Fall Collection were key creating the look.
- Lea Michele wore the following products to achieve a playful yet classic look:
- PRO-PRIME Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base & Skin Smoothing Face Prep
- Douceur Blush (NEW for Fall 2010)
- Tzarine Duo Eyeshadow (NEW for Fall 2010)
- Palladium Soft Touch Shadow Pencil (NEW for Fall 2010)
- Tashkent Pure Matte Lipstick (NEW for Fall 2010)
“My inspiration was the era of the 60’s. I thought of Raquel Welch and Bridget Bardot: the winged eye, the nude lip. The dress is so classic, so we wanted to be adventurous with her eyes– giving a dash of color with the new Palladium Soft Touch Shadow Pencil – and kept the lip nude with Tashkent Pure Matte!” –Melanie Inglessis for NARS Cosmetics

Her skin looks amazingly fresh! Kinda wish her hair was up though, to better showcase that gorgeous necklace, and also to counteract the dramatic ruffles on the dress, for a more balanced look.
I think she, Claire Danes and Nina Dobrev are the three best dressed/made-up (can you say that? ^^) ladies of the evening, they looked gorgeous! I especially loved Nina Dobrev's dress, though this navy one is also really gorgeous! Jep, they are definitely my top 3 of this year's Emmy Awards.
I love the dress and the makeup but I think her hair cheapens the look which is really upsetting because usually her hair is soooo gorgeous!
She looks like Jennifer Garner in the dress photo. Give me back my Rachel Berry please. Not loving the hair but love the rest of her.
Gorgeous frock! And I love her lip colour - she looks great, though I think overall it would like slightly more elegant with an up-do. That's how my hair looks most days! I like her nails as well.
