Le Metier de Beaute Jade Eyeshadow
Le Metier de Beaute Jade Eyeshadow
Le Metier de Beaute Jade True Color Eyeshadow ($30.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a medium-dark, muted green with subtle yellow undertones; it’s almost a cool-toned green. Jade has a satin finish, which is described as “a rich, silk-like consistency offering sheer coverage with a subtle sheen.”
The texture is soft and smooth, and the color goes on richly and lays on the skin incredibly nicely. The color is very true-to-pan and doesn’t require any building to achieve opaque color. Being a satin finish, the texture of Jade isn’t quite as buttery as the shadows from the Penelope Kaleidoscope (which is what prompted me to buy three of their single eyeshadows!), but it’s just as easy to apply and blend.
Where to Buy: Nordstrom, $30
The Glossover
It's an easier way to wear green for those who are not as comfortable with color--it's muted but still very much green. It's also more of a neutral to neutral-cool green, so it should work well across skin tones.

Product & Review FAQ
Where can I purchase Jade? How much is it?
Nordstrom , $30.
Is it limited edition?
No.
Any dupes?
I couldn't think of any!
All the greens are gorgeous and green is my favorite color but I think my favorite is the one by le metier in Jade.
Ya I'm on that jealously tip also! Any distribution date on that yet? You cannot know how much you read my mind with that color. I like the story, too. Like you see those eyes flash in the dark as the infidelity is discovered. It's exciting! Like with the sound of a snake rattle in the dark.
This is a beautiful shade of green. I don't think I have anything similar in my stash, but I heard LMdB pull out of the UK already.
I don't think so - they're totally different! This is a more muted green, no blue or teal - mine is a brighter and darker green.
When I saw it in the pan, it looked a little "meh"- like the kind of green that everyone has- but the swatches are much more eye catching. Seems like all of a sudden there are a bunch of eye shadows I want.
I was a little, "Hmmm!" when I first opened the pan, but when swatched, I like it a lot more. I like that it's green but muted (but not pastel or light or gray).
Normally, a green would thrill me. After reading the post about Jealousy Wakes, I am totally all over that instead of this!
Me too. I love the name, the "back story" and I think I am really going to love the colour! So excited I can hardly wait and so happy for Christine!
I gotta tell ya Christine, I was not impressed with these shadows. I bought a handful of them a couple of weeks ago. The texture was not as silky as I expected, the pigmentation wasn't consistent and one arrived with the pan completely unglued from its case. Not something I would expect from a $30 shadow!
Oh no :( I'm so sorry to hear that! I just bought three and am really happy with the ones I received. Which ones did you get?
you could try emailing LMdB for an exchange for the unglued one. They have a very strong fb presence and impeccable customer service, I'm sure you can work it out with them :(
Dumb Question: why does the box say "Innocence" and not "Jade"? All colors wouldn't have the same ingredients, would they?
They usually do - they might have some +/- of colors at the very end but the base formula is typically very similar in my experience - this is the only box I had.
