Nomination queen of the Awards, Lady Gaga is seen wearing an Alexander McQueen gown with a golden feathered headpiece. Interesting enough, her makeup is incredibly natural–looks like a slightly cut crease, lots of mascara, black liner, and a rather nude lip.

i think this looks really cool! Its lady gaga, she’s never going to play it safe with a classic look but this is less ‘out-there’ than some of her other stuff!

I love lady gaga. I went to one of her concerts and sat really close up, you can literally feel her energy and love that she has for her fans. She’s truly an inspirational person.
I’m not even phased by her outfit haha… but her makeup is really beautiful and soft. Brava, Gaga!

It’s really cool and crazy (which is what I love about Gaga), but I think the whole look would have looked STUNNING if she had worn a black wig!

I wish I had a job that called for blue hair. Oh how I constantly fantasize about having blue hair. lol So i am biased towards awesome look, esp with the natural makeup. I also like the lighter, wispy brows on her.
Putting aside the weird headpiece the dress is oherwise amazing.
I looove Gaga, but am vaguely annoyed that her hair clashes with the dress. I’m just…like that.

I agree! I love the eye makeup, and the natural brows keep her from looking like a weird doll, lol. Actually, I like her whole face here; she’s got kind of an unusual look and it’s nice to seen her not hiding behind tons of crazy makeup for once.

It might just be me, but as soon as I saw the first picture, I instantly thought “CHER!” Used to like Gaga, but I feel like she’s mimicking too many past stars.
Here she really reminds me of Cher O__O Especially with the mohawk! Love that she used her appearance as an opportunity to remind everyone about DODT.
She ALWAYS reminded me of Cher … I’m mean Cher was always out there in the day. She is doing her own thing now (Custom printed fabrics FTW!) but she has more in common with Cher then any other music Diva. ^_^
Am I the only one tired of the whole meat thing. Not this outfit, but the meat one she wore is just in bad taste (haha) how many people can not afford to feed their families across the world. That meat to me is a clear indicator of a wasteful society.

OMG….i admire Gaga’s style but this one is a No-No to me..
the dress is fine..like..really dramatic and edgy but somehow in an elegant and unique way.
but..what’s with that mohawk?! IMO it’s ridiculous, it makes her look like a goose, plus it’s just too much together with that dress. the effect is a bit overwhelming.
maybe i’m being overly critical but c’mon..the outfit would have looked so much nicer with black hair. and it would have been so much more flattering even to Gaga’s face and make up. oh well..she cannot always hit the style-jackpot;)

Understand, ladies- The world NEEDS Cher. Madonna never measured up; she wore last years clothes from Europe. Ho hum. Those cone bras were a ten year old runway show that had to be dug out of storage. She’s always been chasing a marketing plan. Thank god for Gaga!
This chis is awesome. I’m older and haven’t heard her music, but she’s a great fashion icon. Very fearless and creative. And well educated- she references the greats, always Easter Eggs there. I love that she often seems to have hit the sewing machine or hot glue gun herself. We did that- my kids just want to buy hideous rip offs of clothes they don’t know the meaning of at Hot Topic. It’s so sad.
She has a stylist. She doesn’t make her own outfits. Before she was Lady Gaga, she appeared on a MTV show ‘Boiling Points’ looking like everyone else, long brown hair, casual grey dress.
