Hair How-to:
Frederic Fekkai’s Adir Abergel tended to the tresses of Twilight’s Best Performance, Kristen Stewar, and his inspiration was, “A sleek and edgy high ponytail with added movement.”
Adir applied Fekkai Full Blown Volume™ Styling Whip from the roots to the ends to create volume. He then dried the hair using his hands. With a one inch curling iron, he curled the top sections of the hair in various directions to add movement. For added texture, Adir applied Fekkai Beach Waves to loosen the curls. He then pulled the hair into a high ponytail and secured with a piece of hair from the underneath by wrapping it around the base of the ponytail; this creates a beautiful, clean hold. To finish the look, Adir added Fekkai Coiff™ Sheer Hold Hairspray for all night hold.

at least her eyebrows look nice. ok, is it just me or does it look like she just went swimming?!! her makeup is all blurry around the eyes, and her hair has that texture you get after a swim and throwing it into a ponytail.
I don’t find her at all attractive… the shoes are nice, but not liking the hair, brows, or dress.
To me , she ‘s just so unfeminine & I hate it .

I love her eye makeup. Having her shadow be so close to her eye color is very striking in a subtle way. The hair however D: That’s what my bedhead looks like if I’ve slept with my wet hair in a ponytail.
Also, the less said about the dress, the better.

Her hair is hideous, but thumbs up on the freckles showing through the foundation and her NAILS! I would kill to find out what color that is.

I liked the dress a lot until I saw how short it is. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with a minidress but…it’s just not working here. Dress would have been so cute if the bottom was knee-length and like a pencil skirt.
She’s got a beautiful face so she can look great with minimal makeup. Not sure about the dress.

aww…dont hate on the pale people… lol i agree that they dont really match and probably shouldve put makeup or something on them considering she was going to an award show and showing her legs off but oh well. she probably didnt notice. sometimes legs are hard to match, mine are pale as hell right now…lol =)

She’s so awkward but I think it’s something people secretly like about her even though they don’t want to admit it. Not a fan of the outfit and hair but her eye makeup looks good! AND SHES SMILING!!
I agree! I used to be on the KStew hate train until I really looked at her photoshooots. Now I love her. In movies, she’s hit or miss with me. In photoshoots, I ALWAYS love her. Especially that Allure one she did with the billowing hair and sultry eyes. Maybe it’s because I take photos, but her face is just amazing in stills. Love the hair, shoes and makeup with this, the dress is just so-so for me.
While I think the Twilight series is horrendous, I do admire that she seems pretty comfortable in her skin and doesn’t feel the need to look perfect all the time. That’s kind of refreshing for Hollywood.
She still hasn’t grown into her beauty. I just KNOW her outfit would have looked so much more bomb diggity on someone else! But at least she’s trying… and this is MUUUUUCH improved for her. Heeheeeee

I think her dress is really cute, and I’m usually not that impressed with what she’s wearing. Her hair is what I have come to expect from her. Her makeup, however, is awesome as usual. I think I always love her eyeshadow so much because her makeup style is pretty similar to my own.
There’s something I like about her, but I need her to move on from Twilight. I know she has talent, but those movies are lame. She looks good here.

For someone who gets so much on camera time shes super frumpy a lot of the time. Glad she at least tried because she was probably nominated. Her top and bottom halves are different colors, not the outfit but skin haha. I like the outfit but not the ponytail and the makeup is cute and simple for her. In the top picture she has a twinkle in her eye

People are SO critical of her. You people WANT her to be something she isn’t. You WANT her to be the beautifully made up, hair done perfectly, flawless makeup, nonbitch, smiling cookie cutter cut out of EVERY other girl these days. She isn’t that, obviously. She is herself, something people struggle with day in and day out. Leave her alone for one second.

She looks shockingly comfortable in this situation. Normally she looks really out of place and uncomfortable and she clearly doesn’t enjoy the red carpet walk.. but here she looks like she’s actually starting to have fun and she is really working the outfit. I love the shoes. Good to see she’s a little more confident in her glamorous side even though I am not a fan.

Her smile is always genuine, not stamped on. I like that about her. Her skin is great. She’s not typical. She’s ironically beautiful and will remain beautiful long after many other actors’ faces have shriveled up and reconstituted via surgery. Her hair though…come on..lets not take the rebellion THAT far.

I love Kristen. That kind of makeup really fits her. I’d like to use that or my everyday look. She’s different from other female stars, which makes me love her more.

Yay! Kristin Stewart is startling becoming more “girly”
I really like it. All about her exudes a carefree nature. From the slightly messy makeup to the even messier hair to the fact that her ears stand off a bit of her head (which makes her extremely liekable imo). It’s summer so why not let her be carefree? All of us opt for quick and easy in the summer months.
After all, if she is who is the queen of edgy and eclectical looks in Hollywodd is not allowed to look like this then I don’t know who is.

Hay, check out ocean love potion. Its a sephora by opi color. it looks exactly the same. turquoise and caicos is a lot brighter on the nails than kristen’s polish!

I personally love this look, makeup and hair. The eye makeup is very basic yet slightly edgy. The play on a fake pony tail looks great!
I think it has to do with showing that she enjoys what she does and appreciates the success that she has – her fans want to feel appreciated as well. I don’t think anybody is asking for a big, goofy grin – but something, some light in the eyes, a half smile – but she really does look pissed off or like she’d rather be anywhere but there. This is career, she has chosen it, nobody is forcing her to remain an actress. I always think people look better when they smile, personally.
Those are some very wise words. This is a tough one. On one side, I think to myself “Girl, enjoy this! I could be ecstatic to have your success!” but then I realize what kind of price she has to pay to have such an awesome career, which is the loss of privacy and having cameras in your face all the time. Nothing good comes without at least some consequences :]
I think it’s the same with many careers, you know? There are always some parts you love, some parts that are just necessary evils to it. I just don’t want her to look like she HATES doing it – because that’s no fun, and I certainly don’t want her to hate what she does. I want her to enjoy what she does and find ways to enjoy herself at events, even if she may not love that part of her job.
She is young enough to study something and change her profession if she is so unconfortable with what she does. And if she loves acting but hates the spotlight she could refuse big budget films and make independent movies. I just think that her words are not congruent with their actions.
Personally, I don’t see how the paparazzi can legally follow these people around so much! And to stand outside their houses! If I did this to someone it would be stalking, but since these people are famous it is considered a job. Stalking people constantly and selling their pictures to magazines and the internet is a job…yeah right.
