I’m always jealous of Kim Kardashian’s skin. It always looks so smooth, glowy, and flawless. (Total pout moment!) Those lashes are too long for my taste – they’re just reaching out so much! I love the silvery-white eyeshadow on her, though; and it isn’t a look we see often on the red carpet. Thoughts?

I completely agree on both the lashes and the eyeshadow.
But I wish her lips were glossy, or more stand-outish. I think her lips are one of her best features
The lashes are a bit too long. She wears the bronze glowy look so well.
I agree about the eyelashes being too long, they eyeshadow would have looked fantastic with shorter ones. I don’t think her hair being up that tight works though it sadly makes her face a odd and a bit alien like with those big hoops.
Her skins lookers killer though.
Ridiculous eyelashes. Her blush is amazing though. I like the lips – it looks like they tried to add drama to the eyes with lashes rather than eyeliner/dark shadow and have neutral lips to balance it out, but I don’t think it worked, although I like the white shimmer, those lashes just ruin it all.
Love the makeup in general…she states on her Twitter that she was going for a blue shadow eye, but the color doesn’t translate well to the red carpet (is it silver? white? blue?). It is still beautiful, regardless, but I agree with other posters that the slicked back hair doesn’t necessarily work well for her face shape and structure. I like when her hair is down, or at least a bit looser.
Lashes are too much for me…too spidery!
This is actually some of the worst makeup ive seen on the red carpet in a looooooooong time. That white eyeshadow clashes with the dress, and those lashes, those lashes, those lashes…that what i have to say about those lol
If i did her makeup i would have kept the skin like it is above, and done a very light bronze smokie eye (no heavy dark colors on the drease. And the lips would be lined and FILLED with a pinky brown pencil, and then i would put something liek Blankety Lipstick by mac over them, and top with a soft swipe of gloss.

Whoa, long lashes. The first pic reminds me of Jennifer Lopes. And why does it look like she is squinting in all of her pics?

Love the dark hair. I didn’t care for the blonde hair on her. Not loving the eye lashes, but her skin is glowing.

i actually like the lashes because they look so funky, perhaps it is not a “traditional” Emmy look and maybe not even appropriate but I like that she is doing something different. I will definitely like to wear lashes like that to a party or a club.
I love that the look is different and that she is playing with makeup and not going for a safe look. We should be less afraid to play with different looks when we go out and leave the “safe” looks for the office.

I always love the way her make up looks but I’m not crazy about the eyes here. Like you said Christine, the lashes are insane and way too long. I love her flawless skin, blush and I actually like the way her lips came out, very simple.
I have to disagree with most people on here. I like the lashes for pictures on the red carpet, as everyone isn’t always this close to her face and makeup needs to be a bit more dramatic to be seen on tv. I also love that it doesn’t look like she’s wearing eyeliner….I do agree that she needs glossier lips tho!

Hmm… I don’t like her make up. Too white, crazy lashes and no definition.
I like her look, but her lashes are a tiny bit too long. I’d like to know who makes them.
This makeup really suits her, its beautiful. Minus the lashes though, they look too cakey.
Omg… terrible eye mu. Lashes are scary and too long, and the white/silver is too heavy handed.
Those lashes are not flattering. They actually make her eyes look smaller IMO. Her skin looks amazing — her blush is always perfectly blended. So jealous of her skin
I think the lipstick looks a little chalky — just needs a bit of gloss.
IMO – Someone with darker skin complection shouldn’t try to pull off such light eyeshadow. It usually doesn’t work out. To top it off they added a very light lip on her, there is no balance. Maybe if she had red lips the look would have worked. I would prefer to see her in her signature smokey eye look.

Kardashian is always a miss for me. She always starts with a good idea and then seems to take it way too far. Those lashes are hideous, and she should never wear her hair back. Ever.
Also I’m just not a big fan so I tend to be more critical of her. But still. Not digging this look at all.
Oh yeah, i have always loved her skin. it truly is “flawless” in all sense of the word. however, i agree, the lashes are too much for me. What happened to her blonde hair? She was a blondie like a week ago?!?!?

Wow…do u guys realize she has insanely long lashes…i don’t think those are fake! i think they’re curled from root to tip and then mascara’d the hell out! She looks gorgeous…i love it!
I love her look! She looks flawless and classy, and I really dont think those lashes look bad.. yeah they are long but they are really pretty! and her hair pulled back like that really shows her awesome face structure..

no way. If she wanted to stand out, she certainly did but not in a good way. It just looks bizarre.. I mean come on, It’s the Emmy awards not a night club. Sometimes less is more.

I dont like the make up, especially those lashes. Its just too much, and in my opinion she doesnt need that much make up.
In addition, she looks like Jennifer Lopez, which I thought quite a few times recently. Look at the hair, the hoops, the make up… even those ridiculously exaggerated bedroom eyes are the same.
Dont get me wrong, I really think that Kim is beautiful, but she should not overdo this look.
I agree. I’ve seen too many pictures where she looks too much like Jennifer Lopez. Aside from the accessories, it seems to me that even her pose (the sultry look, whatever you call it) is too similar to JLo.
