Kevyn Aucoin Neolita Pure Powder Glow
Kevyn Aucoin Neolita Pure Powder Glow

Kevyn Aucoin Neolita Pure Powder Glow ($37.00 for 0.21 oz.) is described as a “berry.” It’s a medium-dark, reddened berry with a satiny finish. Bobbi Brown Berry is cooler-toned and darker. MAC Hot Nights is purpler. NARS Dolce Vita is slightly more muted. See comparison swatches.

The texture is soft, incredibly finely-milled with a silky feel that applies smoothly, evenly, and remains easy to blend–even with a shade as richly pigmented as Neolita. It’s not a shade for the faint-hearted, as it is bold, bright, and has excellent color payoff. The finish has a subtle shimmer that translates to a luminous sheen as it gets blended and worked into the skin. It didn’t emphasize pores, and it really did give off a “pure powder glow.” Neolita wore well for almost nine hours and started to fade just after that.

This is a makeup line I haven’t tried before, but this is gorgeous! Their other powder you reviewed looked beautiful as well. I definitely want to try something out now!

Yummy! I can definitely see myself wearing this, albeit with a very light hand! (I’m NC20). I am a big fan of warm red/wine shades. (MAC Prim & Proper, MUFE Bright Peach blush, Covergirl Golden Pink)

  4. This is super gorgeous! Ohhh man, I wish I could justify spending $37.00 on this….

Beautiful, I love Kevyn Aucoin Pure Powder Glows! My favorite is Shadore!

  6. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shade! It looks like a great one for autumn!

  7. My favorite thing about all the Kevyn Aucoin blushes is how easy they are to blend! I often get a patchy result from highly pigmented blushes from other brands, NARS in particular, but this is never a problem with Kevyn Aucoin. I also love how long lasting they are!

I absolutely love Kevin Aucoin’s Pure Powder Glow. I bought 2 of them from Hautelook!!

  9. That’s a really pretty color! It’s bright…it pops!

beautiful color! how does this compare to tom ford blush?

    • Is there a particular shade you were trying to compare it to?

      • PB

just the overall feel. quality + pigmentation of the powder, would it compare to that of tom ford’s? thanks!

        • Hey PB!

Kevyn Aucoin’s blushes are same in pigmentation (both are true-to-pan), but Tom Ford’s has a denser, more buttery quality – if you’re familiar with Urban Decay’s eyeshadows, TF’s blushes are more like that in texture – soft, almost creamy. KA is soft, yes, but thinner in a way.

  11. I own this blush. Very pretty. Great reminder for me to wear it!

    Jaw dropping gorgeous.
