Kate Hudson @ 67th Golden Globe Awards 2010 (Photos & Pictures)

Golden Globe Awards: Kate Hudson
I wish Kate Hudson wouldn’t purse her lips in nearly all of her photos. It makes her look pretty smug and not so lovely.
Beauty Inspiration
“Golden Globes makeup is all about the dress. When I saw Kate in her gorgeous white dress, I knew we had to go for a clean, sophisticated, pretty look – very Grace Kelly.” — Leslie Lopez, Makeup Artist
Beauty Breakdown
“I prepped Kate’s skin with CHANEL Sublimage Fluid before applying her base, L’Oreal True Match Foundation in N-3. In the crease of her eyes I used the grey shade from the CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Blue Celestes. I applied the lightest silvery white shade under the brow bone, as well as under the lash line. The inside of her eyes were lined with Almay black eye pencil, and I finished the eyes with CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. Finally, on her lips I used CHANEL Aqualumiere Sheer Colour Lipshine in Malta, a sheer subtle peach shade.” — Leslie Lopez, Makeup Artist

I agree… she does look horribly smug, especially in the second picture.
But I gotta give it to her – she looks smashing!
When will the stripper platform shoe trend end?!!!
That’s what I was wondering.
Haha, I’m dreading for the day the trend ends
Wow, she has aged really fast. Look at all those fine lines!!! Honestly didn’t really like her makeup, that blush did not suit her well, hair, and dress not great either, still I can’t get over the fact that she is not aging very gracefully.
I agree completely, it’s ok to be overdone at these events but in a more flattering way.
I have to agree as well about the aging. She’s lookin a bit worn out.
She’s only a year older than myself, but I look ten years younger than she does (judging by the fact that I still get carded in Canada where the legal age is 19)…
1980 Canadian too!!! Yeah one year older is definitely something I don’t see, 30 going on 31, more like 38 or 40. She is looking more like her mom every day and not in a good way.
Everyone has days when they look less youthful. Much rather see that than Nicole Kidman freeze face at least its real and moves.
Is it just me or is her liner go a little crazy on her inner corner?
that’s the first thing i noticed!
Yeah, I agree! Her tearduct area was a little too overdone.
I guess it wasn’t just me that noticed that…so weird.
Yes! That liner dip down in the inner corner looks “off”
I actually don’t mind the makeup, but I would have preffered a lipstick shade just a TAD darker…she looks a bit washed-out. Love the dress….HATE (and I know, it’s such a STRONG word, but I do…) the shoes…..
I agree. Over all it could be a great look. Minus the strange eye duct lining and the shoes. The lips being darker would just give it that extra kick.
Oh god Kate! Don’t do that your lips. No, no, no! Those shoes in that dress in another no, no, no!
Lady GaGa wannabe.
I didn’t care for the dress.
I’m with so many others: love the dress, NO fan of the shoes!
Positively exquisite makeup. The dress??? 8=/
From this angle… dress = YES, shoes = NO
I’d have to see the dress from another view, though.
I’m not a fan of the inner-winged eyeliner and don’t think it’s flattering on her.
that eyeliner is just so harsh i don’t like it at all!
I do not get the shoes at all. When you are wearing a floor length gown you don’t need the crazy high heels, just accept your height. I think a silver high-heeled sandal would have rocked. I like the makeup though. I really like that she went with a bold nail polish when the rest of the look is so light.
The shoes look clunky and the dress is just not flattering on top. i do love the lines of the skirt and the back is dreamy! The top just looks like wishful thinking fallen flat – no pun intended…
I never noticed that! (smug). Haha. I agree certainly in the 2nd pic. I like Kate
The liner on the tearduct is interesting, can’t decide if I am yay or nay on it for this look. Makeup and hair are both simple but lovely.
I think as a whole, this look is nice, but up close, that cat-like liner and shimmery gloss is doing nothing good for her. And those earring are too much with this one.
And you’re right about the smugness. But honestly, I think it’s just her. Something about her persona has changed quite a bit in the last couple years I think. What happened to the smiley hippie she used to be?!
I think she looks lovely!! I’m shocked that most of you guys don’t think so, honestly women are too hard on each other. This is how normal people age! Not everyone looks like a plastic barbie doll. I think she is one of the most beautiful actresses and she looked radiant every time the camera was on her tonight!
I think this pic is lovely and she’s not pursing her lips!

honestly everybody knows she has no chest! she looks stuffed with cotton wool, that gown is wearing her and not her wearing the gown, the only thing that works is her hair.
eye makeup is way harsh for this look. shrinks the eyes instead of playing them up. must. blend. eye makeup. yikes! remaining makeup soft–looks good.
I really loved her eye make up.. it looked very effective up close and at a distance.
OMG she rocks it, this is great! Love the dress and even the plattform shoes.
MU could have been edgier to that, nevertheless she is fantastic.
I think she doesn’t look old for her age, especially having a child already. (I find myself a bit used to the photoshopped images, but i don’t think she has too many fine lines). Not a fan of the dress nor the shoes, I think although she could pull off extreme outfits, the simpler ones suit her better.I think this makeup makes her look even more Goldie Hawn-esque, which I don’t mind.
I like the eyebrows a lot.
love the makeup, hate the dress
This is not a good look for her. This makes her look harsh and well rather barfly like.
Those shoes are SO tacky….ugh
Ooh, gorgeous dress! It’s so architectural! Though, she already has quite small eyes to begin with, I think the tear-drop eyeliner made them look even more cat-like and smaller. The first thing that I thought of was that she had one of those eyeliner goops in the corner of the eye that we get when we line our waterline and it collects there. Also you’re right about the lip-pursing, it doesn’t look very good, it makes them look even thinner than they already are. But I think she’s got killer lashes! If those are her real lashes + mascara, oh god I’m so envious!
Hate the dress but the eyes are really refreshing to see amongst the same old brown-smokey-and-liner that everyone’s got going on. Everything else is pretty blah for me: the earrings, shoes, and lip color can go.
bummeeeeerrrrr
I’m not a fan of the inner corner liner. It’s so pointy and babygothesque.
The eyeliner is harsh (and what’s with all of it in the corner of her eyes?), and the lashes are spidery. The origami dress is wearing her, not the other way around.
Those shoes and that dress DO NOT go together. what the hell was she thinking
What a goof ball. *shaking my head*
I love the dress, but the shoes …
Her make up is also so so, all the eyeliner and over the top clumpy mascara… plus the metallic lipcolor .. she would be 10 times better with a glossy nude and smoky eyes, instead of the eyeliner mascara overdose.
