Her look isn’t really working for me tonight. From afar, I like her makeup, but up-close, it’s a little clash-y.
Beauty Breakdown
First, Genevieve applied Lancôme Bienfait Multi Vital Teinté to Julia’s flawless complexion. Just a hint of color was applied to the cheeks with Lancôme Color Design Cream Blush in Petticoat Pink. Genevieve used her finger to apply and pressed the color on to Julia’s cheeks. To create a dramatic eye, Le Crayon Khôl in Black Ebony was used. Several coats of Lancôme Définicils Pro Mascara in Black created lush, dark lashes. Genevieve opted for a soft natural-looking pout. She applied Lancôme Le Lipstique lip liner in Natural Mauve then coated the lips with Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge in Coquette and topped with Lancôme Juicy Tubes in Hallucination for a high-shine finish. – Genevieve, Makeup Artist, for Lancome

Julia looks stunning, but it's quite obvious that her nose is MUCH thinner than when she started out. Nosejob? Or my imagination? Super sexy though.

Not like at all- especially the uneven hair colour at the roots. She's such a gorgeous girl normally but this I just can't go!
I don't like the makeup, and her face is scaring me in that first photo, yikes!, but that look overall is working like crazy for me! LOVE the dress and accessories and even the hair. I wanna say it's too casual for the Golden Globes, but I like it when people don't take these events too seriously in their dress if they don't want to.. it's especially nice when they pull it off, which I think she has here. But again, that eye makeup up close is a no-go.

I agree with you. From up close it looks a bit weird, but it works when you zoom out. I would have preferred a brighter, warmer lip though.
she is gorgeous!!! and i agree with someone that said she gets prettier with age. but i did notice her teeth a bit yellowish....
Do you guys think she's had work done or botox? She looks very 'unwrinkly' for someone her age who laughs as much as she does! But I like her look, so don't take this as a dig.
She looks so effortlessly chic. As though she truly just threw something on at the last minute, tousled her hair and said "Danny I'm off to the Globes, watch the kids tonight". Oh and did her makeup in the car between stop lights. Love it!
She just keeps getting better with age!
