I love that JLo doesn’t look plastic, she looks like a beautiful woman who is gracefully moving through her 40s. I respect that a lot, and think this look just embodies everything that a confident woman should aspire to be, she looks her age and is proud of it. FAVOURITE THUS FAR!
I agree with you to a point. I do not think that she looks anywhere near her age. In fact, I think she looks better today than 10 years ago.
She is the most beautiful, sexiest, desirable woman in the world.
Not liking the eyebrows, and unlike Christine I’m also not digging the intense inner highlight. She looks very futuristic, and all of the pieces (hair, makeup, dress, jewelry) come together to reflect that, which I can appreciate but it’s not something I usually go for.

I know. J-Lo used to literally glow all of the time, and she never to this day ever looks like she wears her face caked in too much makeup. Her face always seems to have just a bit of makeup, barely any powder at all, possibly some bronzer, slightly shimmery, and mostly neutral. She looked like that no matter which event she went to and it was great.
But her face above does look a bit ‘beaten up’ and her eyes look very stressed, tired, upset, and pre-occupied. Which of course they could be and she’s free to be. But her face just has this ‘something has been going on and I’ve really been going through it’ look on this occasion.

Maybe this close up of her face is not the best, but her makeup seems to age her, makes her look tired. I think an smoky eye would have been better with her gorgeous white dress. Anyhow Jlo has always been a favorite of mine. I love her sexy style. She is a gorgeous woman with a body that any 20 yr old would wish they had. But this makeup look does not suit her.

A little too much for me. The tight white ruched & draped dress, the sheer bling-fest cape thing, the massive earrings…
What I find most distracting though, is her eyebrows. The seems to angle across her natual brow bone, especially in the inner corners. Or is that just me?

I love her dress & makeup! I think the sheer “poncho” type thing makes the dress even more beautiful. & to me I feel like the intense highlight in her inner eyes brings the dress & makeup all together. Gives her a pop of glow on her face
The first photograph seems to be taken from the meanest angle possible. Like the inner highlight, but the rest of the Make Up is boring and the lipstick is a bad color in combination with the rest of the style.
Dress is fabulous. Jennifer is a stunning woman, unfortunately the makeup was just a little too harsh and not blended well enough, came out too harsh and frosty & the foundation looks uneven. I think softer and lighter hand would have been fabulous. But I blame the actual makeup, not the look or the woman. I’m sure she’ll rock the Oscars.

I really think that would be beautiful over a wedding gown during a winter wedding. The dress is so so, the cape? is fantastic.
The makeup is a definite miss. It looks like she has a white stripe around her eyes, and I’m not talking about the eyeshadow, but the under eye area. It’s the lightest part on her face. There’s just way too many foundations/concealer colors going on in her face. The forehead and under eye area are just too different to go unnoticed. Her MA probably should have blended the lighter color down towards her nose more.
I’d love the dress without the sheer spangly thing on top. Her hair is simple and lovely, but that eye makeup is doing her not favors. It looks poorly blended and doesn’t really suit her skin tone well. JMO.
i didnt really care for her eye makeup. she is starting to wear her age a bit. before she use to always look flawless. she’s not looking like herself to me. shes still beautiful.

My thoughts exactly. The makeup and dress would have been beautiful, but she looks stressed out. Just goes to show that makeup can only do so much! Drink lots of water and get some sleep, JLO! Otherwise, I still ♥ you!

She is a natural beauty. This makeup is far too heavy for her and the colors are all wrong for her. The cool tone colors are harsh on her and someone needs to tell the makeup artist that applied her eye brows to step away from the brow pencil/powder NOW. The highlighter in the corner of the eye is not only too much but just the wrong color. The application of the cool ES to her crease brings her eye downward. She’s really lovely. I think what we see in the second photo is that that Jennifer *knows* this isn’t a good makeup look for her. Dress is fine. I like it.
completely agree. looks like MUA ran lately, rushed MU, did a poor job, and it was too late to fix it. I hope J makes a serious complaint. I’m sure she could have done better herself. hell, just wash it all off, throw on her foundation, mascara and lipstick & she’d have been gorgeous. I want to know who did her MU so poorly. They need total retraining. either that or she was repping a company and they have horrible products.
ugh. her makeup here is not flattering her face, nor her age whatsoever. its a pity because usually her makeup is flawless but here things have all gone wrong. from the harsh eyeshadow to the uneven foundation&unblended contouring. that is why she looks tired and sick instead of healthy and glowy. the dress could have also been much better if she kept it a bit more simple without all that bling. Jennifer seems to not know that less is always more!!
its not her that looks bad its her makeup.its a 200% miss.everything about the application of everything is bad.which isnt her fault.its the makeup artists job and whoever did it did a horrible job.shes gorg the dress is ok but too bad about the makeup.
i never understand why they dont get them to redo the make up she must of looked in a mirror… even a different bronzer and it might of been ok
Like her hair and dress though I think her concealer is sort of standing out too much and the eyemakeup is making her look tired/older. But kudos to Jlo, she is confident and brave to be sporting this look!

this is probobly the worst makeup i’ve seen on her! she usually has a glowing look to her skin..it just looks dull. and the highlight on the eyes has got to go. to much matchy matchy with the makeup and the dress. makes her look too hard in my opinon. she still has a fantastic figure. i really love the white gown however the sheer/crystl shoulder wrap is like…huh?
A sexy woman . . looks so good in white/gray dress. Now if she would let her hair go au natural to match her dress. Her best pic shes ever taken is the one in white dress with her glowing skin, parted hair down the middle with striking white roots peeking out, and big smile.
JLo looks sexy in white! Stunning dress on her, great cleavage for 40s, and great skin tone. If she would just let her hair go gray naturally. . she would look even more stunning and glow so much more.
