Hair How-to
Jennifer Lopez was dazzling on the Oscar red carpet, wearing a beautiful Armani Prive dress, accented by an elegantly texturized updo created by master stylist Robert Vetica. The look was very modern and sophisticated.
To create the style, Vetica started by applying Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream on wet hair to create smoothness and shine. After blowdrying hair straight he sectioned hair off and created two ponytails, an inch apart, one on top of the other to create volume below the crown of the head.
Next, Vetica used a curling iron on each ponytail to create texture, and then brushed them out for width and volume. After creating the shape of the updo, he strategically pulled out stands throughout the look to create a modern textured effect using flyaways around the forehead to further soften. He then finished with new argan oil-infused Moroccanoil Luminous Hair Spray.

My my my so many jealous people out there. Jlo’s not fat, she’s voluptuous and curvy hourglass figure type not the ironing board look of the skinny unflatering types.
Fo real people love to hate! Must be people with no fashion taste! She looked classy i bet if she wore a skanky dress people would still talk!(Cant win either way i guess)
This dress makes her look fat, not voluptuous. There is a difference and this is one UNFLATTERING dress.

Right, and that’s not back fat bulging out the back of the dress near the armpit. It’s not necessarily that she’s fat, but that the dress was a very poor choice/fit. Those over-paid designers surely could have made a more flattering dress to fit her figure, no?!
Don’t get me wrong ! I personally think she is a beautiful woman, but the dress doesn’t compliment her figure. It’s the weird thingy on the side, it just doesn’t do much. And I would say the same for any other woman, whatever the figure. I don’t know why the trend is to these frilly things, but I personally don’t think it suits many people ! I think she would have looked gorgeous without the frilly bit. Sorry if my comment was taken in this way, I didn’t mean for it to happen. It was the middle of the night for me and I should have developed I guess.

and i agree. not flattering at all. and i love that she embraces her curvy figure, shes usually good at dressing herself and showing it off well….just not with this dress
Thanks, I, indeed, never said she was fat, just that the dress made her look bigger than what she is. Funny enough to see that some people are just waiting to pounce on other people comments … who is the hater in the end, I shall simply ask ?
I think it is just a bad angle.
You are seeing a bit of her back, her side and her front in the picture. Even a size 00 model would look curvy at that angle.

J Lo looks great! Her dress is cool; very unique. It reminded me of bubble wrap though.

Wow. Not at all flattering. I don’t have anything against curves, but this dress makes her look cartoonish. And it does kind of look like bubble wrap. lol
I guess all that creme de la mer didn’t make her impervious to aging, but it is really quite good to see some real faces in Hollywood, lack of facial expressions scare me.
I gotta say tho, is her butt really that big?dear lord!
As one of the red carpet people said – it looks like her dress farted fabric on her hip. I think if she cut that off she would look a lot better in that dress.

I love her makeup. The hair looks like she’s been out in the humidity for too long. and although she’s curvy, this dress does not look great. she could look better in something else.

The dress is aweful, looks like buble wrap, or packing foam. She has a lovely figure. Her hair looks ratty, not the best hair style I have seen her in.

Jennifer is a sexy, curvy girl with a very…ahem.. visible behind. I don’t think she looks fat at all. But I do think this is probably one of the ugliest dresses on the red carpet this year. Looks like frikken foam rubber/bubble wrap combined. Actually, it looks as if she is wearing a duvet. Great curves though.
I like her make-up too. I never realized, however how many marks she has in her face! Not that it takes away any of her beauty, but it just shows how airbrushed the photos are that we get in magazines. Good to see some real flaws on the stars. Makes them look more human.
Don’t like the dress. The material looks unfavric-like to me, I guess i’m just more into classic materials. I have nothing against her curves, but it seems to me like the dress is very solid, as if those weren’t her actual curves, just a stiff dress.
I usually like her makeup, it suits her facial features. But in the close up, she doesn’t seem to have those amazing strong features (I looove her cheekbones) as usual. It seems she has gained a bit, but maybe she’s just not as contoured, or maybe she’s a bit tired and puffy. Or simply I don’t see unphotoshopped closeups enough of her.
