January Jones @ 67th Golden Globe Awards 2010 (Photos & Pictures)

Golden Globe Awards: January Jones
Another pale, red-lipped beauty. I love how simple her eye makeup is with those fierce falsies.
Beauty Inspiration
“January’s Golden Globes makeup was all about taking a fresh approach to the classic red lip.” — Rachel Goodwin, Makeup Artist
Beauty Breakdown
“I used Le Blanc de CHANEL under her base to create luminous ‘glowing from the inside’ porcelain skin, then treated her lips with CHANEL Hydramax + Active Lip Treatment before applying CHANEL Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Paris – a gorgeous garnet red from a new lipstick line launching in March. I painted the finest black line on her upper lid with CHANEL Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Noir and shaded under her eyes with CHANEL Intense Eye Pencil in Graphite in the outer corners. I finished her look by layering lots of different false eyelashes then added Exceptionnel de CHANEL Noir Obscur Mascara over the top for an intense black lash line.” — Rachel Goodwin, Makeup Artist

Love the red lipstick with the pale skin!
Looks like she stuck her face in a bowl of flour before walking onto the red carpet.
too pale…
The hair ribbon with the hair isn’t working for the red carpet, it looks like she’s going to hit the gym.
As much as I love embracing the pale, I really feel like a little blush would have helped her look more alive, especially in the second photo… Actually, I take that back – better contouring. I think pale skin + red lips looks amazing with well defined cheekbones but I think her MUA missed just a tad on this.
Her face looks very powdery !!! She needs fix + !!
I don’t like the dress, but I do like the pale skin, fair hair and choice of a dark dress to accent the dark red splash of color on her lips.
Her makeup is too powdery. It makes her look much older than her age. She is a pretty girl. Dewy skin would have made her youth shine through.
I love the entire look – headband, dress, and paleness. She looks absolutely gorgeous and I’m glad she didnt go put makeup or fake tanning products on her body to hide her beautiful pale skin.
Gorgeous makeup. I’m a sucker for the pale skin, bold makeup look and she’s rockin’ it right now.
Go Mad Men!!
LOVE the lipstick but agree with others that her skin is too powdery and matte. She would look tons better with a dewier look. I think a pink or plum blush would have worked better with the lip color.
she looks like a vampire
pretty girl. pretty makeup. but she is dressed for a funeral on star trek.
Very nice, a bit more blush as the others already mentioned.
i loveee how she has full eyebrows. its nice to see a woman embrace the thickness of her eyebrows. it is kinda pale but lips are nice
I liked the makeup although I favor thinner brows. The dress was kind of dull.
Too powdery, and — I know she can’t help it — but the headband makes her ears stick out in a weird way. On the other hand, she reminds me of Katarina Witt. Not her best look.
How does anyone stay that pale? 0:
I think the black hair ribbon/band is a little too harsh a look with the dress. Maybe the back looks better but it reminds me more of a “bad hair day” look instead of Golden Globes.
I do like the lipstick.
