January Jones had her makeup done by celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin.
Makeup Breakdown
“I wanted January’s makeup to have a shimmering, candlelit quality to it. I was inspired by her black and gold lace dress which had a very decadent romantic feeling to it. I used different shades of gilded metallics and reflective textures on her eyes, cheeks, and lips.” — Rachel Goodwin, Makeup Artist
“I lined her eyes with CHANEL Precision Eye Definer in Gris Scintillant, a sparkling pewter pencil blending all the way into the crease along with a pale gold cream color to her upper lids and inner eyes. Her cheek and brow bones were brushed with Soleil Tan De CHANEL Moisturizing Bronzing Powder for soft radiant highlights. I finished with CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine Lip Colour in Boy on her lips, a delicate luminous petal pink.”
Hair Breakdown
On wet hair, Campora began by applying Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Styling Whip to create volume and Fekkai Coiff™ Contrôle Ironless Straightening Balm to smooth out the hair. He parted the hair to the side and blow dried using a round brush. To accentuate the wave, he used a one inch curling iron setting the hair into pin curls. Once he took the curls out, Campora brushed through the hair creating volume and constructing shape for the style. Then, he pinned the hair up at the center of the head, revealing the nape of her neck for the dramatic look. To finish the look, Renato sprayed Fekkai Coiff™ Sheer Hold Hairspray for all night hold.

when i first saw the head shot of her and saw the top of the dress i thought to myself, ohmygoodness this is going to be a disaster – but no! i actually find it very classy!
The whole look suits her very well especially the eye makeup.
This dress is amazing! I don’t care what anyone says… it is a Carolina Herrera. I loved her Golden Globes dress, too. She is so bold! I never get bored with her choices, and her body is so straight up and down that she can wear many options.
