I almost cried. And that final look Janet gave the audience! all the hypocritical “love” of Michael of the last months…
It’s absolutely hypocritical–my roommate has a subscription to US magazine, and the week before Michael died, they ran a whole spread on how he wears women’s clothes and is a fool, and then of course the next week they attempted to cash in on his death by remembering a legend. It made me feel sick.
She was fantastic that night. It was just the perfect tribute.

Kudo’s to whoever did Janet’s choreography. The routine was cool, but I’m really tired of Janet lip-synching. Have you noticed she is really starting to look more and more like papa Joe in a lace-front weave. I’m glad she did a tribute but I like Latoya’s song Home tribute better. Latoya’s vocals are much better and she is the only one with any personality in the family and she was the first there at the hospital, signed the death certificate, and planned the memorial, and has since promoted Michael’s charities. Janet went right back to work on Tyler Perry’s movie and back in the studio to record yet another sex song with a dated beat just in time to make money off of her brother’s death. Sad, Sad, Sad.
I agree about the lipsyncing but you honestly think Layoya is the better sister? She testified against Michael in court when he was accused of child molestation. Janet and Michael has always been closest, but just because he died I don’t think it’s necessary for her to drop all her work to do all this stuff. Latoya has been making money off Michael’s death even more with her numerous interviews regarding her brother.
I agree that Latoya is the one who is truly cashing in on Mjs passing. She has never really had a career as such, so she needs to grab it while she can. As for janet returning to work, people deal with their grief in different ways and we have no way (or right) to judge who is doing it properly as there is no book or set guide line as to what should and should not be done.
Now I am going to listen to this Latoya tribue with better vocals.
