If you could partner with a brand to create a limited edition makeup line, which would it be? Share!
Guerlain!

Chanel! I just visited their counter yesterday, and it's my Tiffany's. "Nothing very bad could happen to you there." To design with them would be incredible.
I'd probably go with a cheaper brand like Wet N' Wild. I think the quality for the price is amazing and for a little extra you could ramp up the packaging. If I got my choice I'd rather do a nail polish brand and go with Butter London. I love their polishes.
I would say MAC because I love that brand, but like someone else pointed out, they do so many collections in a year, my collection wouldn't feel special. I would want my collection and the packaging to feel elegant and luxrious...Dior, Channel, and YSL come to mind.
NARS most definitely. I love MAC too but they come out with a billion collections at once which is kind of a headache
since mac releases about 50 collections a month, I wouldn't want to do it with them because it wouldn't be as special! I would have to say Nars for a more classic line, or Urban Decay for a more edgy one
Bobbi Brown. I like that the brand seems to appreciate the value of understated makeup, which is the majority of what I wear.
Probably MAC. Overall it's my favourite brand and I just love what the brand stands for (actualy artistry) as well as the products. I was disappointed by their collections last year but Shop MAC & Cook MAC look pretty good, and I love MAC's collections usually, I can just see myself designing super cute packaging and gorgeous new shades! Otherwise, probably Urban Decay, I'd love to create a palette with them, as their eyeshadows are my favourite along with MAC. Or perhaps Benefit, because I love their products and the packaging is adorable :)
Woohoo, second question of mine that's made it! ;D That being said, this is a hard one for me to answer. I think I'd like to do a spring collection with Dior or a holiday collection with Chanel. Dior spring: I'd have three Rouge Dior lipsticks, as I adore them to no end. One would be a shimmer, another a cream, and the last one a matte. I think one would need to be a bit of a duochrome that straddles the line between ladylike spring and very bold summer colors. And I would want a new fragrance after my name, ahem. (I'm a huge Dior junkie, but I can't find ONE perfume from them that agrees with my skin! Maybe the perfume would be permanent.) I would also create a peach blush duo, with one a shimmer and the other a matte, so you could be set for day or night. I'm thinking the blushes would have a gel/cream consistency, sort of like Buxom's Stay There shadows. Chanel holiday: I think Chanel + gemstones = Christmas magic, lol, so that would be my theme. Two eyeshadow quads would be a play on amethysts and topaz. Nail polish colors would have a liquid shine, and would be layerable; a shimmery sheer platinum over a vinyl-looking garnet.
Well I'm a nail professional, but I would love to partner with Ginger & Liz or Cult nails if I had a chance ;)
Seeing that the make up collection I'd partner up for would be entirely centered around my freakishly pale skin (think: N 5 or even lighter) I'd love to work with some brand that makes good foundations. Unfortunately none of the commonly popular foundations work on me, so I can't really say... I guess it'd either be Chanel or Guerlain though.
For a larger brand, Urban Decay. But I think it would be cool to partner up with an indie brand, Sugarpill in particular, I love their aesthetic.
Either Mac or Chanel. Mac because I feel that more people are bound to buy it, and Chanel because it's classy, and I just love Chanel! :)
I would ask BPAL to do a line of perfumes based on the characters from my book series! I don't know if that counts but I do love Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. :D
I'd pick mac - then I could get them to make quads that are all-round winners with no duds in sight :D
MAC or TooFaced, most likely because the quality would be good and the products would be more widely affordable (I was eyeing Guerlain's Cruel Gardenia yesterday but no way can I justify spending that much on a shiny face powder, however pretty).
For a non make-up brand I'd like to partner with Coach. Their colours and textures just wow me everything. For a make-up brand I'd like to partner with Hard Candy. One reason would be that everyone could afford to buy something or the entire line and they do have some interesting products and colours.
Definitely Illamasqua. I love how theatrical everything they put out is, especially the collection art. :D
