I Spy Temptalia @ Revlon Lashes
Around 9PM tonight, I got some pretty EPIC news! The lovely @scorpio21090 tweeted me a picture of Temptalia’s Award logo stickered onto Revlon’s lashes. Back in January, when the results of the awards came out, Revlon asked if they could use the award logo on stickers for some of their false lashes, and I said yes… and I had almost forgotten about it until Anna tweeted an image to me!
This, of course, meant that the boy and I had to race out and see if we could find them locally! Anna got hers from Rite Aid, but we found ours at Walmart! It’s kind of this big moment in Temptalia history, so I picked up seven pairs (one for my mom, one for each grandma, then my aunts… the boy’s mom, ME!).
Anyway, thank you SO much for all of your support! It is because of your amazing and unwavering support that Temptalia has gotten to where it is today and I even get to blog about something like this. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I wanted to let you know, too, that when I went to our To The Beach release party at the MAC in The Domain in Austin, one of the MUA’s there saw me writing down on my little card what I wanted before I even went into the store. He asked me if I’d seen info on it somewhere already, and I mentioned that I saw swatches and everything on Temptalia. He nodded, smiled, and knew exactly what I was talking about! We all, MUAs and non-professional enthusiasts alike, very much appreciate all the work you do!

It is good they aren’t the ones that were pre glued… I tried a pair and hated those by Revlon.

Congratulations on the lash promotion. That’s great! However, I am sort of puzzled. I have been following your blog for almost 2 years now, and I have yet to see you wear false lashes in your looks, much less Revlon lashes. If I am not mistaken, I have seen you pictured with your real lashes, because you don’t mention wearing false lashes. How can you award them as best false lashes? How often do you wear false lashes?
Usually I only get half-way there! I do a ton of testing in the back end of the year (September through December) specifically for awards purposes – so this involves a lot of testing where I put one lash on one eye, another one on another eye — but it’s not a look.

Amazing! As everyone has already said, you deserve the recognition! (and lol next you need to try to negotiate a way to get a cut of the action because I wouldn’t be surprised if having the Temptalia seal of approval actually boosted their sales… I know I for one am going to pick up a pair just to try, and I haven’t had much luck with falsies and haven’t purchased any in years)

I bought a pair of revlon fantasy length lashes just because it had the temptalia sticker on it and it was more expensive than the other revlon eyelashes, but i figured since it has the temptalia sticker it must be worth it!!!
