I don’t know if I’d try this…looks like it has some serious fallout issues waiting to happen!

  2. The burgundy shade on the lid, the black shade in the crease and outer v, and the purple on the lower lashline.

  3. I would wear the pink on the inner half of the eyelid, the purple on the outer half, and the black in the outer v, crease, and lower lashline. I’d pair it with Urban Decay liner in Zero, Benefit They’re Real Mascara, MAC Well Dressed blush, and a pinky nude mouth. Wow that was a lot haha!

  4. LOL, based on your earlier review, I wouldn’t! I checked the tester at a Sephora store, and you had it exactly right. The purple and black were hard to tell apart.

But if I had to, I’d put the pink on the lid and in the crease, run the purple along the lash line and blend some of the purple into the pink for the outer V (skipping the black because it’s just not a great color). Then mascara, and voila – hopefully a soft but sparkly look.

  5. I would do a smoky eye with the deep purple on my lid.

I have to say I am not a fan of the black/silver or the black/red in this palette at all. I much prefer Night Breed and Night Fever single eye shadows. But the Purple in the middle … I LOVE!!! I love this on the eye lid over a black kohl pencil, really smudged and smokey, with an electric purple kohl pencil on the waterline. Maybe something like Laura Mercier’s Purple Sapphire or NARS’ St Marks Place are perfect. MAC Well Dressed blush on the cheeks and MAC Creme Cup lipstick on the lips. (That seems to be my favourite cheek/lip combo at the moment). :-)

I was all set to order this… until I saw it in the store. I was so excited to test it. All the colors came out the same, black. I was so happy to try before buying, huge fail :(

  10. I would wear the dark purple on the lid, the lighter purple in the crease and the black on the outer corner of the eye well blended of course to give the sexy smokey eye!! check out FilthyImage.com a new fashion blog thanks love:)

  12. I tried all three colors on my eyelids, and…they look the same to me!

  13. This is just CRYING out to be used for a really dark, sultry smokey eye. A 1920s inspired look with porcelain skin and dark, dark lips.

I want this a lot. can you tell?!

After seeing your swatches, I wouldn’t bother at all. :/

I just tried this, but honestly, the colors are the same. They are pretty, but literally, one is black with silver sparkles, black w/ purple sparkles. and black with red sparkles. (and the sparkles are not that noticeable) I would use them totally differently, not all in the same look. If you tried to put all 3 of them in the same look, it would come out muddy and the same. The pictures, and the way it looks in the pan misguides you as to what the colors are.
So, I would use one of these at a time, either in the crease or to line the eyes.
